First of all, I don’t take people seriously if they mindlessly “love” or “hate” a game that hasn’t even came out yet. Would you automatically love or hate a movie that hasn’t been release in the theaters just yet? No, you wouldn’t. You also wouldn’t buy it without ever seeing it to know if it’s worth your money. Or you wouldn’t buy it without first checking out the reviews on it or friends’ opinion to help you decide.
Seriously. No one would instantly love tropical-mint-lemon with hummus ice cream without tasting it first to know if they really like it. So when I see people saying that they’ll buy multiple copies just to support a game that hasn’t even came out I find them ridiculous. You’re basing your “love” of the game just from what you saw on the trailers of it?
What is wrong with you?! Where’s your common sense? I learned long ago not to be bias or have high expectation for things that I haven’t tried, that is new and I don’t know much about. It keeps me from being disappointed and it helps me to be open minded. Sure, you can be skeptical or excited about things like new games coming out and/or movies and whatnot but don’t bring “love” or “hate” into it, especially when you have nothing factual to back up why you’re bias about it. After all, it’s hard to take anyone serious if they already hate or love something when it hasn’t been release yet.
