Dear Journal,
I am sad to say I am back home from the trip to Austin. I arrived on June 2nd at 4:30 pm. I hate comming home from a big trip like that. Anyway, here's what we did:
May 30, 2006:
1) Arrived at the college at 9:40 a.m.
2) Had a class meeting at 10:00 a.m.
3) Had lunch at 11:30 a.m.
4) Left the college at 12:00 p.m.
5) Arrived in Austin at 8:00 p.m.
May 31, 2006:
1) Got on the bus at 8:25 a.m.
2) Toured the Capitol from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m.
3) Talked to Senator Eltife's representative from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m.
4) Talked to Representative Hopson's staff from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
5) Had lunch in the Capitol cafeteria from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m.
6) Visited the Comptroller's office from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m.
7) Visited the Supreme Court from 2:15 - 3:15 p.m.
June 1, 2006:
1) Got on the bus at 8:20 a.m.
2) Talked to the TCCTA's representative from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m.
3) Talked to the MADD representative from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m.
4) Toured the Governor's Mansion from 11:20 - 11:40 a.m.
5) Had lunch in the Capitol cafeteria from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m.
6) Visited the Court of Criminal Appeals from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m.
7) Visited the LBJ Museum from 2:15 - 3:30 p.m.
June 2, 2006:
1) Got on the bus at 9:00 a.m.
2) Visited the rest of the LBJ Museum from 9:25 - 10:30 a.m.
3) Left Austin and arrived home at 4:30 p.m.
We had to take a lot of notes! On June 8th, we have to turn those in.
