Well, survived another harrowing work night. This time, my nemesis (or coloquially known as foe of the week) was drowsiness.
Bad timing as well. Got to get home early since I have to go to the cabin for inspection routines and make sure everything is in proper working order. I know there is no electricity there, but that is why we have to be there early, so as to avoid nightfall and not see anything up in the mountains.
Passed by the Muerta de Hambre (Starved to Death) and drank 2 cups of hot joe and a glassfull of Pepsi. Hopefully the caffeine overdrive mode will last me until we return, at which point I'll possibly pass out.
Up so far, I've got 3 ideas for more Eberron characters (in the canon* campaign). The first one is a Kalashtar Soul Knife called Draizhen (or, thirteen, in german), seeking to destroy any and all Dreaming Dark agents.
Secondly, an emo Half-elf Bard called Argos. Why emo? Why not! Disturbingly exotic, attractive and instead of bolstering allies, he discourages foes.
Third (and ironically, my original character choice for the Eberron campaign) would be a Human Wizard called Giovanni Domenico, an evil manipulative b*****d looking out for number one.
Since I'm out of character sheets, I'm gonna have to call it a rain check on making these up for the weekend. Perhaps I'll be able to steal away this Monday to xerox some fresh sheets and make them, but FFXII is proving to be a delectable game, filled with dozens of little quirks and perks that truly make it an outstanding game.
*the canon campaign is my friend's Peshk Forge's official campaign. Between the group of players that enjoy the game since we all learned to play it from a good while ago (and I mean at least almost 20 years in veterans such as myself), we've come to the mutual understanding that our homebrews and TSR/WotC campaigns are officially linked to each other, even if its just a slight planar transportation away, and none actually occurs during most of them.
Oficially, all my campaign worlds are linked. Thus allowing a hero from Faerun to eventually pass through Sigil and then, making a stop by Athas, to finally battle some ancient evil in one of my homebrew adventures, or even visiting a world of my friend's. This applies to all campaigns I run... except for Dragon Mission & Realm v3.7, which are both linked to each other, but this alternate Earth setting is in no way connected to the others.
As of this date, the campaigns linked are: Tyrannia (home-brew, a friend's) Gaia (home-brew, Ecasasa's) Ynkol (home-brew, mine) Umbra (home-brew, my kid brother's) Ond'tor (home-brew, mine as a tutorial area for young players) Ravenloft Forgotten Realms Dark Sun Eberron Greyhawk Mystara (under our canon, officially a dead plane thanks to players bent on global destruction, and me acting as an irresponsible DM) Aeouris (home-brew, mine, and by far, my most time-consuming project) Aebrynis (only used as a source of powerful abominations) Planescape setting (which serves as a link to all of the above) Rhyloz (homebrew, Peshk Forge's)
Of course, any DM with a home-brew campaign is welcome to let me know and add it to the canon. Players and DMs alike love cameo apareances by well-liked and hated characters, be them memorable NPCs or adventurous PCs.
My Eberron Gaiden escapades are more likely fun-over-roleplay situations, but due to player fondness of the characters, I have requested Peshk to include them as part of his Eberron experience. Let Khyber, Syberys and Eberron tremble in ill-concealed fits of giggling.
