We went house-hunting for the first time yesterday. It was... interesting. So far, we have two of interest. I'm not sure if they're of interest anymore or not, though.
This is going to take a while.
Until then, my mom's trying to find a way to get us out of the hotel. Though she hasn't figured out where we can go yet.
The hotel remains pretty boring. Kilala is getting used to the place. Enough that I can walk her around outside now. Gives the both of us something to do.
We have a military base and an airport near by. So... lots of noisy low-flying planes about. Kilala is amazed by them. Especially the extra-loud military fighters. They're the strangest "birds" she's ever seen in her little kitty life.
XD
The pool is finally warming up enough for swimming, just in time for the weather to cool down. Lovely. So much for swimming. Meh...
I'm stuck to watching TV, messing with the cat, and occasionally jumping on the computer.
There's another cat here, but she only comes around at night. A little bob-tailed calico cat. I'm determined to get close enough to pet her. So far, no luck.
There's also a resident toad. He's cool too. ^ ^
Other than that, not much here. I still can't wait until we get into a house. For one thing... I'm getting a little tired of restaurant food.

In other news... Time zone change is a killer. Not to mention confusing when it comes to keeping in touch with my pals back in California. But it's mostly tiring.
Thank God for coffee. Though I have to wake up too early[ 8:00 Georgia time ] to get the good coffee they serve in the lobby.
My mom doesn't drink coffee, and she dominates the coffee machine in the room to make tea. Which I wouldn't mind having some of... only it doesn't wake me up like coffee does.
My mom's already complaining about the weather here. Saying she's afraid of what the summers are like. Seeing as it's November... and it's very warm here right now.
If the summers here are anything like the ones in Florida, which they probably are... then it's not quite as bad as she thinks.
I don't think so anyway. I liked the summer weather in Florida when I was there.
And that's about it for my rambling today. I miss you all!
