It doesn't really feel like Christmas to me. Probably because I've been unpacking and s**t all day. 'Cause God forbid if I took a break.
My mom understands my pain at least. She just yelled at me to NOT clean my room. XD My dad just had a cow every time I tried to stop for a while.
When I got frustrated at him the first time, he just said "I know... I have a lot of unpacking to do too"... and then he walked back into the office and started messing around on the internet. What the hell?!
The second time he got mad at me when he caught me taking a break. I almost asked him if he needed any Midol. Almost. But I didn't. Though it would have put me in a better mood at least. ^ ^;

Well, for the happier side of Christmas... I got a new floor lamp for my room. And it's prettyful! It has five different lights that I can bend in whatever way I want, and each of the shades is a different color (red, yellow, green, blue, purple)... so it's like a rainbow when you turn it on. I loves it! <3
And my room is starting to look more like a room, and less like a junk closet. Yay! Though it's still a little overwhelming to look at.
It just seems that no matter how many boxes and s**t that I get rid of, the pile never gets smaller. X_x

And my mom and I sort of invented a new dessert thing. Unless it's already invented. I dunno.
They're cranberry/mandarin orange/almond tarts. And they need a shorter name... very much. ^ ^; I want to call them Cran-Man tarts. Maybe I just will.
Basically we took a pie crust, pressed crushed almonds all into it, and made little cups out of it, and baked them. Then we filled them with my mom's kick-a** cranberry sauce, and put a little mandarin orange and more crushed almond on top.
They are yummeh! XD
Then of course the other part of our Christmas dessert is Brownie Mud Pie icecream. 'Cause we don't have anything to make the usual cran-apple pie with. Except the crust and the cranberries.
And... that's about it here. Happy Holidays everyone! ^.^
