The smart make plans
The wise don't count on them.
Fools always show their hands
While the careful hold hidden gems.
The tolerant neither consent nor condemn
Because fear isn't master of their Land.
But the intolerant, their tide can't be stemmed -
Too late in love, too much in fear, too weak-willed to understand.
The young desire a sunny life
The old comfort nesting;
The greedy count their money bought with strife,
The happy count their blessings.
