My parents brought Patches inside! 0_o It could end up being a permenent thing, depending on how well she and Kilala get along. So far... not so good. They're both afraid of one another, and neither of them can seem to get over it.
The idea of Kilala being afraid of this Neko look-alike that's half her size is actually pretty funny though. XD And looking at how big she is compared to Patches (and Kilala is still a little thing), it makes me realize how huge Neko really was. =o But, it's true. Kilala, who used to stalk full-grown deer, is afraid of a skinny little kitten.
They're not fighting at least. They're just avoiding each other, and when they happen to cross one another... they hiss and growl and go on their way. But it's making Kilala really upset, and if she doesn't agree to this, then Patches has to continue being an outside cat. After all, Kilala was here first. It's her house.
Another thing that could get her kicked out, is her fear of being by herself. She's happy when there are other people around, but once she's somewhere alone, she has a fit and starts crying. I'd let her sleep with me, but that wouldn't be fair to Kilala... nor would Kilala allow it anyway. 0_o I mean... I can't even touch "her side" of the bed without getting attacked, and it's MY bed!
So... yes. We'll see how this goes. Hopefully these two will just get in a little slap fight and get it over with already. So they can hurry up and be friends. =/ That's how it worked with Neko and Dakota. Kilala greeted them with a slap, let them know she was the boss, and everything was fine after that. I don't see why she doesn't do the same with Patches.
