I guess the main reason Stephanie liked me was because I was the only one who didn't really call her "Dark."
But the only reason why was because I didn't believe in "Dark" things or "Dark" people.
I believed a Person was a person and they all wound up in the same twisted universe, and they're all the same inside and out no matter what anyone says.
A couple times Stephanie invited me on one of her "Jobs," But I never went.
I only stayed with her for half the time once and it was really boring; so I left in the middle and went home to cook something for dinner early so maybe I could go to the library before it closed.
Today at school Stephanie said she had a really big "Job," and she needed a friend she could trust to come with her.
Since when am I her friend? And I don't want to be trusted.
When she took me to her house after school she let me have the first pick. I sighed and chose a Hammer. I liked hammers, they were sharp on one end and flat on the other and could get any type of "Job" done, no matter what it was. I wondered if I would even need it, because I would rather not help Stephanie with her So-Called "Job."
Well, we ended up walking down to someone's house a couple blocks down. It turned out I didn't need to use the hammer, I just watched Stephanie do her dumb "Job" Herself with an old Axe that looked like it had only been used to cut down a couple of thin trees. She couldn't get another one though, no one in this world was going to sell a huge sharp Axe to a fifteen year old Blondie.
I was spacing out and lost in thought while Stephanie did her "Job", wondering why I came over in the first place. Maybe it was just to laugh at Stephanie, but she wasn't funny at all so there was really nothing to laugh about.
When the "Job," was done, Stephanie turned out needing my help to dispose of the Bodies; A young couple in their twenties who didn't look like they were married yet. Stephanie chose the So-called "Fun" way to dispose of the bodies- which involved dragging them onto her father's motorboat and Dumping them into the lake.
I wondered how many times she had done this, and I wondered when the idiot police were going to find the bodies and see that Stephanie's boat was the only one docked on the empty beach.
We ended up driving to the deepest part of the lake and Lugging the bodies; which had been wrapped in big black bags, into the water.
After we threw the man in, The boat began to rock and Stephanie decided to drop the anchor.
The clumsy airhead ended up getting the rope tied around her foot and falling into the water.
She was holding onto the side of the boat with all her strength, kicking her tied up feet around in the water, getting the bottom of my jeans wet and I stood there and watched.
"Help!" She cried up to me, struggling. "This anchor is really heavy!"
Stephanie bobbed underwater once or twice, popping back up and desperately grabbing the side of the boat in attempt to save herself. "What the hell are you standing there for?" She screamed at me, losing the grip of the boat with her right hand.
I grabbed the body of the woman we needed to dispose of and threw it into the lake, watching it sink to the bottom as Stephanie barked at me to help her.
"I can't hold on," She shouted at me, trying to pull herself up. "Help me up!" She yelled.
I considered a couple times to try to help her up as I pried her fingers off of the side of the boat with the sharp end of the hammer. She was still trying to hold on while I was pounding her fingers with the flat end, watching them bleed down the side of the boat.
"Help!" She cried, tears running down her red face as she finally let go with one of her bleeding hands. "I thought you were my friend!" She sobbed as she tried to grab onto the boat again. I slammed the hammer down on her hand, which Made a sick cracking noise as the bone of her wrist broke. Her hand slowly slipped off of the side of the boat as she struggled to reach the other one up there, but her head was already underwater. I watched her struggle a bit, but after about twenty seconds I think she gave up and just let herself sink.
I couldn't see her actually see her sinking, the water was too dark and murky. But I saw the bubbles from her last breath of air escape the surface.
The hammer I was holding was all bloody, which made it useless so I threw it into the water.
I just leaned over the boat for a while, thinking about Stephanie.
I didn't regret what I did; not at all. Someone would have killed Stephanie eventually, It was obvious. She wasn't "Dark," or "Crazy," like anyone had said.
She was just a human; just another human whoever was up there controlling this planet put on earth to take up room. She wasn't any crazier than the next human, and she wasn't any darker.
She was just a Person, and she would go to the same place everyone else went when they were gone.
I couldn't help smiling to myself; Stephanie has just finished her final "Job," so no one was going to bug me anymore to come along with them on little "Jobs." I could just live my life with no one caring, like I always wanted to.
I looked into the water a couple times, expecting Stephanie to suddenly pop up, gasping for breath, but she never did; she was at the bottom now.
Well, I thought to myself as I turned the key of the boat sideways, the motor starting up.
So much for the So-Called "Dark" Stephanie.

Description:
Supposedly, Stephanie is looked at as Dark for the things she does.
But is she really dark, or just disturbed?
She calls me her "Friend."
I've only come along with her once, but when her fate is to come, should I help or just stand by?
I'm not a very good writer, and I can probably do better than this....
But I hope I get some good ratings, because writing is a big part of my life ^-^ - Date: 11/28/2008

- I think that with some editing, changes in sentence structure, and some more plot it'd actually be pretty decent.
