Betrayed is such a strong word. What if someone made you a promise. What if someone broke that promise. It sucks. But, my so called generation will always have it's little twist and turns through the path of ice. Such as friendship; One minute, she's the nicest person alive, but then you make the mistake of turning your back. Backstabbers. Bitches. Whores. Preps. Popular kids. They're all the same. They also all hold the same key to everyone's emotional cords.
There's only one problem; What if you don't have emotions? Is that even possible, someone without emotions?
Yes. There's a lot of people out there that are just plain tired of people tugging on their cords so often, that they let them snap. The consequences are all different. A life of sorrow. A life of loneliness. A never ending paranoia. But the worst of all -- A ended life. The most simple path to happiness; Death.
Betrayal. Sorrow. Depression. It's all the same. It all hurts. Why must the madness continue on? Will a brave person ever stand up to these people? No. Almost everyone out there, most of the people reading this now, are the betrayers.
When you think about it, betrayal has entirely no point. The only thing someone gets out of it is the knowledge that they inflicting pain. They are the ones that have to live life knowing they have caused sorrow. And maybe even death. Now, why would anyone want to live throughout that.
But what if you were betrayed by one of the good people? What does that tell you about the world? So many unspoken things.
But the world will not change for one person only. It's the cruel truth. If we tried, it could be changed. I strongly doubt anyone will try, though.
As a great man once said, common sense isn't so common.
