-
Disillusioned fears and muffled cries,
stirring from one small silhouette.
Pale embodiments of yesterdays memories,
and the taste of such crimson regret.
Love and beauty preaching ever louder,
to a silent recipient.
Hatred and hostility,
both well wielded weaponry,
as the one who could no longer feel,
lies forever silenced among the shadows.

Description:
This is a poem i wrote that i think a lot of people can relate to. I wrote it when i was really depressed, because i felt alone inside, as though i were that girl who had sunk beneath the shadows. It basically is about a girl, who cant take the pain that others cause her anymore, she's become so numb to love and any beauty in the world because of the pain she's been caused, that the only way she feels she has out is to die. - Date: 07/15/2008
