    If you could clear away the dark clouds,
    and brighten the sky,
    just to see the one you love,
    just to see her not cry.

    Every minute you waste of your life,
    you'll never get back,
    and when you try to make it up,
    when you think you've had enough,
    do you just give up and not try?

    If you could spend a whole day staring into her eyes,
    if you had it easy,
    if you had no fights,
    how long would you stay with her?
    How many days?
    How many nights?

    If you could hold her hands,
    if you could take a stand,
    just for a day,
    not thinking about how it will end,
    or remembering how it all began.

    No more stand ups,
    as you now know pressure can get rough,
    and just when you thought you were tough,
    and thenwhen you could just give up,
    did you?

    Every day,
    Seeing her face,
    spreads a smile across YOURS.

    And when times get rough,
    and it involves your love,
    God will be there to open the doors.

    When you're innocent,
    and hate watching her cry,
    for you shall not fear,
    God is by your side.
