~Paint Your Nightmares Black~
Sneak past the ever-watchful eye, the tower
Dawn and dusk join hands to defeat opposing forces
Your a ghost of yourself, but lust for overwhelming power
Becoming sinister person in all your choices
Night specters haunt my returning dreams
Your knife draws warm, crimson blood from my back
You say things that you didn't mean
But there is no way to take hate-felt words back
Kill my heart
Paint my horror, my art
Paint my world black
While you whisper curses and stab me in the back
None step foot in my shadowy thoughts
But you come running blindly, wielding a knife
Against your will, to the death we fought
Dragging out battles, having the time of your life
Screams slice the pale, vulnerable night
Make it bleed, your beautiful blood pours
My desperate, pleading cries for life
Are forgotten, locked behind lost doors
Kill my heart
Paint my horror, my art
Paint my world black
While you whisper regrets, and I stab you in the back
