School

Daybreak came. The girls' features had turned back to normal. Tsumi was already cleaning herself up and getting ready for her day at school. Ookami walks over to her, confused. "Hey, why are you washing and getting all dressed up?" She yawned then sat on a rock next to the small spring, letting her feet soak in it. "Oh I'm just getting ready for school...." She splashed water on her face then paused, she looked at her hand the way she did the night before. Ookami looked confused. "'School?' I've heard of that place. Isn't that the place where they torture you with books, papers, pens, and things that jumble up your mind so fast it causes one massive headache?" She leaned back and looked at Hono, who was still sound asleep, snoring. "Yeah. I'm almost forced to..." Tsuki went to grab her backpack when Ookami grabbed her hand. "Why go? you can learn all you need in the real world. Half the stuff they teach you there is useless, anyway." She laughed a little then looked at Tsumi's face. "No, I must go." She grabbed her backpack and started walking."Wait!" Ookami came up and grabbed her shoulder. "We'll come with you. Who knows? It might be fun," she said, trying to sound convincing. "You don't even have uniforms..." Tsumi pointed out, "Or books or anything else." Ookami laughed,"You can handle that! That's a simple spell...It'll only take a few seconds! Please?" She handed Tsumi the book. Hono woke up, shook his head, and yawned. "Wha....what'd i miss?" He rubbed his eyes and looked at the two girls. Ookami smiled and winked. "We're going to school!"
Tsumi had performed the spell correctly and quickly. Ookami dressed in a blue skirt with a white top and bow, just like Tsumi's uniform. Hono was dressed in tuxedo-looking outfit: green pants, a white top, a green jacket and black tie wrapped up the whole thing. They started walking towards the building. Hono's eyes widened and his jaw dropped at the huge building. "WAIT!!" Tsumi yelled, turning around quickly. "Your ears and tails! How are you going to hide them?" "Hm," Ookami thought for a while, "Ah! Hono, you know how to make them disappear, right?" He nodded then cringed, his tail soon vanished and so did his ears. Ookami did the same, but without cringing. Tsumi nodded, she didn't bother to ask questions.
High up in the mountain, Hideki got his daughter ready for school, trying to make her look as normal as possible. "Now, dear daughter, befriend them....get to know their weaknesses, their strengths, everything." He finished and tied the bow carefully around her neck, then moved it off to the side. Aiko nodded,"Yes, father." She walked through a doorway and down a long staircase. "Now remember," Hideki said, "don't let them change your mind...." She nodded and continued walking.
The bell rang, and loudly. Hono was startled every time it rang. Ookami walked him over to his age group. In this school, it starts at 5th grade up to 12th. Each grade had it's color. Ookami stopped and looked at a big sign. It read all of the colors and grades for each:
White-5th
Black-6th
Green-7th
Blue-8th
Red-9th
Yellow-10th
Orange-11th
Purple-12th
Tsumi sighed, "Oh this is gonna be fun!" Ookami laughed and looked at the people walking down the hall. Ookami had a keen sense of knowing when people are hiding something. Hono was able to read minds, so he read each of them that passed. Aiko came and walked up to them. "Excuse me, but can you tell me where room 101 is?" Tsumi pointed down the hall. "Third door to the left." Aiko smiled sweetly, "Thanks." Ookami looked at her carefully, then decided nothing was wrong, so she went off guard.
It was lunch time. Blue and Green uniformed students walked into a giant hall, filled with the aroma of food. Ookami's keen sense of smell was going wild. She could barely contain herself! After they got their food, the group sat down at a table by themselves, away from everyone else. "Well, today is going quite well. A few teachers looked at me funny, but I didn't mind." She smiled then laughed. Hono looked at the warm food and dove in, enjoying every last bite. Aiko walked up to them. "Excuse me, may I sit here? All of the other tables are full." Hono smiled and looked at Ookami. She looked at Tsumi who then gave her an expression that she thought meant Okay. "Yea, go ahead! I'm Ookami!" Hono smiled and said, "Hono's the name." Tsumi looked over at the new girl at the table and said,"Tsumi, nice to meet you." "Nice to meet you all," Aiko replied.
