Hey this is a story i'm writing, this is probably my fav story so far, just beacuse I get insperation from every one. Even my friends. In fact ((if your reading this)) they might find themselves in the story...((though not now))

My mother told me many stories, all of them I thought she made up. Stories passed down from generation to generation to make sure we don’t go out at night, never go near that old abandoned house, or the old castle.
By not believing those stories, I did not obey. One night I decided to go to the castle. It looked harmless enough. In fact it looked marvelous during the day. I would always stop on my way home from school to look at it. While all my friends would hurry on home. They were scared of it. Something I could never see. How can you be scared of something that is so stunning? Was always the question I would ask myself when they left me. I got to the castle around five o’clock at night. Then I would have about 30 minutes before dark. The iron lock had so much rust on it; it just fell to the ground. The once great Iron Gate was rusted to the point that it would never get back to the way it was. The gate just swung open, and it screeched so loud that I was surprised that no one came running to see who had made the noise, but one did come, just not in the daylight. I started up the walkway. What was once lined with beautiful live plants is now lined with rotting, dead ones.
The castle has been in my village for an immensely long time. The castle used to house the lord of our land, but was abandoned after the vampire house ravaged our land. My grandfather said that, “…it was sad to see all of our neighbors, and friends, go crazy looking for vampires that didn’t exist in my opinion.” The village killed eleven deaths, which may not seem like much, but in a village of fifty, that’s twenty-two percent of the population. They killed a man of twenty-two, a doctor, two women of twenty-three, a boy of seventeen, a girl of fifteen, a man of forty-three, and a little girl of five and her parents. After that massive vampire hunt, our lord abandoned his home, and left us to govern ourselves. There haven’t been anymore killing to this day.
The door of the castle was coved in dust, dirt and grime. While the brass knocker was hardly noticeable, it was so coved in rust that it blended into the door. Now that I was at the castle, I was starting to chicken out. I saw the old Latin curse that the elders placed the on the door after our lord abandoned it. “For any vampire that comes, beware. For you will get what many of have gotten before you.” A bolt of lighting shot across the night sky, and the pricing scream filled the night sky.
I ran home, like the very flames of hell were chasing me, beckoning me. I arrived at my house to find my mother in a state of panic, and my father trying to calm her. When I stepped in, my mother ran to me and almost suffocated me with her hug. After being lectured, and yelled at for an hour, I was sent to bed without dinner, and was grounded for a mouth. A sentence I never got to for fill.
Later in the night I herd a ruckus in my house. I ran to the living room to find my father fighting off an intruder. My mother laid there motionless, with puncture marks on her neck. I ran to my twin sisters’ room, shut the door and blocked it with their bed. I got them up and told them to hide in the closet and not to make a sound, and breathe through a cloth. By the time I got them in there, the intruder or should I say vampire came through the door throwing the bed against the closet. He came after me, and almost caught me. But in a last ditch effort to get him away from my sisters I ran though the door, but he caught me before I could even reach the door. He bit me and left me to dead in my home, gasping for every breath, watching as my world darkening around me…
