The rain fell hard onto the cold ground, disguising her tears, as they gently rolled down her cheeks. She was alone. The one person who meant everything to her, was gone. Along with a part of her heart that could never be replaced. The sadness and sorrow in her eyes reflected that day, and would forever on. She walked alone that night. The pathway that once held their laughter, joy, and happiness, was now gone. It held nothing but memories not worth remembering for her sake. She realized that now her life would just go back to where it had always been. Where it had began and where it belonged. Twas as if her whole life has paused for her, to experience the feeling of being loved, cared for, and so forth...until it was gone. No one and no thing could revive her from this phase. Not even another. Another who cared as much as he did. She would never forget, but in time she knew...she had to. Death was nothing worth remembering she thought. She asked herself, "Was it fate? Destined to happen? Why must this happen now? Is it for real?" Confused to whether it was or not, she continued to walk. Her almost silent footsteps reminded her. She closed her eyes to remmeber. One last time...
