Hello, I know this is TOTALLY UNRELATED to avi-art and stuff, but last night (while I should of been doing avi-art or sleeping) I was finishing off this book called "Ptolemy's Gate" by Jonathon Stroud. It really is a riveting read. ^^
It's the last book in the Bartimaeus trilogy. Throughout the book, there were times when I wanted to throw the book to the ground and go find some manga, it was rather boring at some points, but then there was times when my eyes were actually glued to the books. My eyeballs actually had paper-cuts! My Favourite character, remained my favourite, till the very end. The main character, still held a very important part in my heart. But this one other main character, who I had hated with the fire of a thousand suns (shakespeare, cool ne?), surprised me in the end. I always thought he was a titchy little snob, but he turned out to be a pretty brave and self-sacrificing (only on one occasion though...before he died.) hero. Now that he's dead, it would be disrespectful to say that I hated him....perhaps he was the teeny-tiny-itsy-bitsy-est bit cool.....
While we're on the subject of "TOTALLY UNRELATED", I hereby denounce all family and blood ties with my brother. We are now officially, TOTALLY UNRELATED. stare
Anyways, don't miss my next entry, we'll be back on the subject of my struggles and grief.... in other words, we'll be talking about avi-art....and perhaps my brother... whee
