Death comes quick




"Where.....where am I?" She winced when she saw sunlight in her eyes. She came to from her deep slumber.At least thats what she thought it was. It felt like she had woken up from sleep but she wasn't in her bed.Maybe this was just a dream.She allways enjoyed nice peaceful places like this one.She at up and looked around. It was a meadow but there was a house. It had two large statues of arms in the front holding a banner. It was strange but it was just a dream so it idnt bug her.

"Woah, where'd you come from?!"
"What do you mean?"
"Well, its not everyday a pretty girl, like yourself is in my frontyard."
She looked at his features and gave him smile. He had dark hair which stuck out the bottom of a bandana. He also wore strange clothes that he couldnt describe in her mind.

"Oh,i think i know whats going on now."He put a hand behind hs head and sighed. "Your new to the Soul Society."
"Soul Society?....."
"Well to put it simple.Your dead"
"Dead? I cant be dea-" Then it struck her.It came as fast as lightning.

"Dad, im leaving or school."
"Really now? Hopefully you wont come back home like your mother did."
"As if i havent heard the story befor. A year after i was born she abanoned me to you because she couldnt stand the fact that i was born a girl and not a guy. And you couldnt find her and thats why i am forced to live with you.Yeah, i think thats why you want me to leave and never come back,am i correct?"
"Just leave."
"Way ahead of you."She had her booksack in had and was allready on her way out the door."

She walked down her stairs and headed her way to school. She had no one. The whole city knew what relationship she had with her father.After all he was a cop that knew everyone. It sucked having a dad like that. Especially one who would verbally abuse you.

She allways took the long way to school only because there was less people to bump into that way. On the way there, she noticed a pole with a vile of flowers next to it. She stoped to look at it and had a feelin she wasnt alone.
"Hello there."I was a little boy. It had a chain sticking out of his chest.
"Hey, Your a ghost huh?" Sh bent down to smile at the kid.
"Yeah...but i realy dont want to be here. I want to see my daddy."
She held out her arms and gave the kid a hug.The small boy sobbed as he gripped her shirt.

"I'll take it from here!"
She turned to see another little girl. But this one was different. She wore all black and carried a sword on her back. What really struck out was her bright pink hair.
"Out of the way!" The small girl pushed her away and pulled her sword out, and pushed the other end against the boy's head.Theblue aura formed around the boy and befor she knew it. he was gone.

"What did you do?"
"I performed konso so he could go to the soul society."
"So....he's in heaven now?"
"ummm.....something like that." She smiled and sheathed her sword."Hey!!! What's your name?"
"Uh...Elena Shikru....why?
"hmmm.....Okay i just wanted to know." She smiled as Elena stood.

Elena turned to look at a man who was walking their way. She broke into a cold sweat as he came closer. The man was extremely tall and his sword was just as long. On his face resided a eye patch on is right eye. He also had a scar that went from his chin all the way to his forhead on the left. His jet black hair was held into eleven spikes and at the end of each resided a red bell.
"Yachiru!" He called out. To Elena it seemed like he just broke the silence.
"Oh, Hey Kenny!"
"What do you think your doing?"
"I performed konso on a boy."
"I see," he looked at Elena, "and who is she?"
"Oh! Thats Ela-Chan!"
He turned away as his lips curved into a twisted smile. "Let's go Yachiru, I'm itching for a fight, not for a weakling like her."

In her mind, that made her snap."Whatever! Be a jerk, i hope you fall and poke your other eye out!"
He didnt turn around or stop.He just contined to walk away.
"See you later, Ela-chan!"The little girl waved as she ran away from her. She took one leap an landed on the man's shoulder.

Elena sighed in relief that the two were gone. "I'm going to hurt Ichigo for rubbing off on me.He's the only reason i can see ghost." Her and ichigo used to be friends when she was little but after a while hey grew apart from being friends. Now they barely even looked at each other.

She turned away and headed to the city. There was no point in going to school now. She was way to late.So she might as well just run around the city for a bit.
She turned on the corner into a bookstore where he went to her favorite section and began to read manga.but sh was interupted by the sound of a carcrash.

She ran outside and saw hat it wasnt a carcrash but a car wa thrown into a builing.A howl of a creature then came as she turned and saw a dark creature with yellow eyes. The man that had spikes was there, so was the little girl.

The man leaped over the creature and onto it's back where he was ging to stab through the back of its neck.but it turned over onto its back which caused the man to leap off. Elena unfourtunately was plumbbled by the beast's weight. she was traped under it.
She tried to hold back her pain but after she heard her ribs crack she let out a whimper of pain. The creature turned its head as it began to rise. Its grim face turned into a smile as it began to pickhr bdy up.
"Kenny!! She has Ela-chan!!!"
"Shut up! I allready know that!"

"What now Soul Reaper? You cant attack me while i hold a innocent human. If you do, youll end up killing her as well."
"heh, you think thats going to stop me from attacking!"
"Why you-" He began to squeeze her body in its hand.
"WHY DONT YOU KILL THIS THING ALLREADY!?" she screamed out in pain.
"I'M TRYING!!"He shouted back as he charged to the creature. He swung his blade into the air an brought it down hard through it's head. The body of the creature quickly vanished, and sent Elena falling to the ground.
She tried to breath but she couldn't. Inside of her,she could feel her ribs ripping through her lungs.

"I'm....not going to make it....."he groaned i pain.She turned to the man and gave a small smile. He aid nothing and his face stayed emotionless.
"I...realy..dont want to go alone...."
she closed her eyes and feel into a deep sleep.

Elena' eyes brimed with tears.
"Woah, dont cry!Stupid me!! Why did i just have to say it like that!? Im sorry!Please, stay with me and my sis. I insist!"
"What?"
"Hehe, a prety girl like yourself shouldnt stay alone here in the Soul Society. Cme stay with me and my sis!" He lifted a thumb and lifted it pinted to himself. "The names Ganju Shiba! What's yours?"
"Heh,Elena,....Elena Shiku!"
