I'm thin-ish! Which is great! I was feeling uncomfortable with my... er... size, which is really annoying in the summer. T-T You just wanna grab the first swimsuit you see on the rack and do a running cannonball into the nearest pool to splash around with your friends in. And no, I don't have a eating disorder and you can't see my ribs through my skin or anything. Eww. I'm really tall and since I get super hungry during my growth spurts [heehee... I <3 that word: SPURT! SPUUURT! xP], I feel like a gaint at times. Or Sasquatch, seeing as my hair's so long!! >.< But I went to GS camp for a week, and our group was only two people, as opposed [sp?] to the groups of 11+. So we got around alot all over camp, and we were a conoeing group. And the one other girl in my group was a bit of a-word-that-I-shouldn't-say, so she was too bratty and regal to paddle more than a half stroke every ten or so minutes. So I did all the paddling in our canoe... the funny thing was that I was in the back of the canoe on all our excersions [sp??], meaning I was supposed to steer and the other camper was supposed to be the speed, to blance out the direction we were gliding to. Since she never paddled, our counselor kept wondering why we were rotating slowly on the spot in the middle of the lake. xD!!
We went out on an overnight to sleep on the shore across the camp lake, which was in the woods, which also meant we'd have to canoe there. The way over was fine, but when we headed back across Lake Langloi at 6:30 in the morning, it was pouring ducks and llamas on our heads and our canoes were like... lap pools. Two counselors were required for the overnight, so Chickita [the waterfront counselor], shared a canoe with Bloomers [our counselor]. They were both wearing hats, several sweatshirts/a raincoat, and were nice and dry. My fellow canoer hat taken the entire tarp we had put our sleeping bags over that night and wrapped herself in it while I paddled in the back in a tanktop and board shorts. -_-
Goooood times. Yes-siree.
