My car's transmission is going out....again....so I'm currently spending the night at my dad's so I can steal (with permission) my stepmom's jeep--no, it's a Santa Fe :rollseyes: my bad :rollseyes:--so I can get to and from work for the next few days. Expect little in ze way of posting anything.
Bad thing though....I love my 1998 saturn lsi. It's the first car I've had since I could drive that was fully MINE--and was BLUE! My first car was a double hand me down 1988 Lemans Pontiac; for a third of the time I owned it it was silver the second third was color of primer paint the other third was a badly done white paint job. My second car (that I wrecked--totally not entirely my fault) was a cherry red 1991 Hundayi Scoupe that had about $600 left on the loan when it was totaled. My third one was a green 1996 Geo Metro--aka the Roller Skate Without Hubcaps or Headlights--that I had about $100 left on the loan when I traded up.
The only thing--besides the tranny issues--that drove me nuts about Satie is that the driver's side window no longer rolled down (some eletrical problem I think, Satie has power windows).
I shall miss Satie...but damnit, she's p!ssing me off!
Update So turns out it's not the tranny *wipes worrysweat off head* but the fact the oil line busted and was spraying oil onto the air filter. Either way...still time for a new car m'thinks.Update And new car has been bought!! Gots me a steel gray 2007 Hyundai Silantra
