I love to role play. If you want to role play with me just pick from one of the following topics and reply to it by PM. (title the PM with the title of the roleplay you chose so I'll know which one you're replying to) Or you could just start one of your own. =3 (you can click on the titles to see a picture of each character) Don't be shy. I won't bite.... unless you want me to.... =3 Note: the "type" under each title doesn't restrict you to how you respond. Its just what that starter sort of leans toward. If I don't reply immediately, just give me some time to think of a good response. Have any good starter ideas? Please mail them to me so I can make a new one.
Keeper of the Secrets (Type: kidnapping) 1 A tall building was settled on the edge of Myrn City. Many windows masked one side of the building, but only one emitted light. Inside, Ash sat among her cluttered office, tapping away at the keys on one of her computers. There were three other PC's across the room, choked with wires. The keyboards were mostly covered with papers, enscripted with Ash's handwriting and notes. She hated this job, but someone had to do it. Every secret of Myrn rested in front of her, inside the computer. Information other opposing cities would die to get their hands on. It was a dangerous job. If something ever happened to the information on the computer, she was the only one who had it in her mind. It left her vulnerable to kidnappings and threats, but over time, the mayor had provided her with guards after a few attempts. Footsteps came from outside her door, Ash turned her head but she figured it was only the guards keeping predators away from her door. With that, she reclined and stretched her arms out wide, making her shoulder give a loud pop in the process. Sitting haunched over a computer for five hours straight doesn't do a back any good.
Masquerade (Type: Romance, mystery, vampire)
Pale moonlight shone in through the window of the dimly lit room as couples danced to the seemingly endless sounds of the orchestra. Every single person was masked, all of the veils of differing colors. Some plain, some complex, either way, the many people seemed to be enjoying themselves. All but one that is. A figure across the back wall stood alone, draped in a pure white gown. Everything she wore was white, the lace, her shoes, her mask, and even the bow perched on her head. But there was one thing that contrasted her bright attire- her midnight black locks, which covered her eyes due to her bowed head. It seemed that everyone else had come in pairs, leaving no one for her to dance with. She knew this was a bad idea all along. Pushing off the wall, she began making her way towards the glass door. It was no easy task. Time after time she would bump into twirling couples. Surely she couldn't really be the only one here alone.
Escape From the Storm (Type: shelter, vampire, ghost) 5 Light footsteps were all that could be heard through the dilapidated mansion. Tomoe wandered down the hall, her long hair still darkened and wet from the rain outside. She tried to dry off as much as she could, but drops of water continued to hit the floor with each step she took. Although she was glad to be out of the rain, she hoped she wasn't intruding into someone's home. It didn't seem like anyone could possibly live here without having a sneezing fit every day. The paintings hanging on the walls were so dusty you could hardly make out a picture. She even felt like she was about to sneeze, but she held her breath to retain it. One sneeze would just lead her into a frenzy. Just when she was sure she was alone, a soft melody of piano keys came from down the hall. She wasn't the type of person to go exploring in the dark, but this was too much to pass up. She continued deeper into the dark hallway until she reached a solid black door. Clearly, the music was coming from the other side. Slowly, she turned the nob and slid the door open.
Witch (Type: rescue, kidnap) 5 A group of tall guards emerged from the dense forest and into a clearing. A girl with obsidian black hair could barely be seen walking in the middle of their formation. The group approached a large pile of wood. The girl in the middle shuddered as she looked at the wood. Her shackled hands shook in front of her despite her efforts to keep a brave face. Each guard held a chain leading off her shackles to ensure she wouldn't run. The formation stopped in front of the pile of wood and the leader of the group pivoted to face the trembling girl. "The time has come for your burning, witch." The chains rattled as the girl took a step forward. "I am not a witch!" Tears welled up in her eyes as she glanced at the alter once more.
Elven Prisoner (Type: slave) 6 A trio of elves walked down a dirt road, a silver haired girl was in the middle. Both of the elven men at her sides held her arms. A thick blindfold had been tied over her eyes and shackles were at her feet just short enough to keep her from running. The group continued walking until a mansion came into view ahead. "Welcome to your new home, I'm sure you'll be very happy as a slave," said the man on her right as he smirked and tightened his grip around her thin arm. "Just be sure to please him. If he's not happy, he'll demand his money back." The girl nodded absently. She had a few bruises lined on her arms from the struggle that took place before. Apparently she had learned who was in charge now.
Rain (Type: fight, help) 7 A figure shrouded in a black cape ran through the forest. The hood stayed shading her eyes due to the rain weighing it in place. A small brown bag on her back swayed back and forth with each stride. Wet, light blue hair jutted from beneath the hood. Stopping, she looked to the left then to the right. The only sound that could be heard was the melody of the rain. All of the creatures she had heard before were now silenced. She began running again, desperate for a refuge to escape from the rain or anything else that loomed in the dark forest. These parts were unknown to her and her map had been stolen in the last town she stayed in. Fresh mud coated her boots and shins, but she seemed to have grown used to it. Being a wanderer, you have to get used to life without luxuries.
Elven Outcast (Type: fight, help, meeting)
Footsteps over rocks echoed through the empty forest. A yellow haired girl strode among the trees with her sight locked ahead of her. A bow rested on her back and a breeze blew back her cloak revealing a quiver at her side. She had but a few arrows left but there didn't seem to be any worry on her face. She came to a halt and looked up at the trees around her thinking she had heard something. She jerked her head to the side, sending some of her light hair behind one long elven ear.
Midnight Swimmer (Type: Mystical, kidnap)
The dark water of the lake shimmered under the moonlight. A waterfall poured into the lake from a cliff high above as a swimmer's strokes blended with the sounds of the splashing waterfall. Her light blue hair trailed behind her through the water as she dove under. Reemerging nearly a foot out of the water, a long fin replaced her legs. The mermaid reclined on her back, floating along the water. The scent of cherry blossoms wafted through the air. A few petals from the trees had even come to land on her as she stared up at the night sky. She didn't seem to mind at all.
City Shadows (Type: rescue, kidnap) (What would be a cool concept for this one is if you were the one controlling the shadows.)
A girl walked the crowded urban streets with a bag slung over her shoulder. She was absently listening to her headphones and swaying slightly to whatever rhythm was playing. Her dark brown hair shimmered as she walked under a bright street light. She seemed to be in her own world at the moment. A group of shady figures followed silently behind her, seemingly jumping from shadow to shadow. One jumped right to the girl's back as she passed an alleyway and pulled her in. She shrieked at the sudden jerk until the demon placed a hand over her mouth and pressed her against the wall. His fellow shadows arrived behind him, each with a wide grin printed on their faces. "We have been searching for you for some time," the demon holding her glowled slowly through knife-like teeth. "Master would like to have a word with you."
Neko (Type: rescue, kidnap) 1 The girl's brown cat ears were pressed flat against her golden hair as she glared at a trap blocking her path. She had seen this many times before. A rope halfway covered with leaves along with a net. The hunters must be nearby too. She took a few slow steps back and dashed towards the trap. In one easy leap, she was on the other side of the net. But she wasn't safe for long. The ground beneath her began to tremble and collapsed under her feet. She clung to the edge of the deep pit with all her might. Wincing, the looked down at the spikes beneath her. Apparently the hunters didn't care if she was alive or dead. She struggled to pull herself back up but found it useless.
Guarded Princess (Type: kidnap) 3 A horse drawn carriage rolled along the bumpy road. A girl draped in a white and blue gown sat with her sketchbook on one side facing her two guards. "My father is getting rather paranoid," she said as she looked out the back of the carriage at the guards following them. "Who would really want to kidnap me?" She looked back at the two guards in front of her. Then after waiting and getting no response she sighed and looked out the window with her glaze not fixed on any certain thing. It was sickening when no one would talk or listen to you. She leaned her head on her hand and strung her fingers through her golden hair. The road was much too bumpy for her to even attempt to draw in her sketchbook, so it looked like she would be bored for some time.
Poison (Type: rescue)
A girl sat huddled on the ground. She held her hand around her blood stained ankle and winced. Opening her eyes, she sat the snake still in front of her. Looking around, she picked up the biggest branch she could find and swung it at the snake to scare it off. After it left she directed her attention back to her poison infected wound. She brushed her crimson hair away from her face and examined the bite. It was already sending a great deal of pain through her. It was only a matter of time before the paralysis symptom came in to effect.
Vampire (Type: me playing the vampire) 1 Moonlight shone in through the window onto a figure sitting in a chair. She had her golden hair drawn halfway back. A wine glass with red liquid rested in her hand as she brought it to her rose red lips. She sat there without taking a sip, just staring out the window. "It's been a while since I've had a real drink..." She leaned her head on her hand idly and glanced at the glass with her bright red eyes. "Maybe my luck will change soon..."
Vampire II (Type: you as the vampire) (you start this one)
Singer (type: rescue, romance)
Lights flooded down onto the stage of a crowded bar. There was but one person on the stage. A few people gathered to watch the upcoming act. A tall girl walked on the stage holding a guitar. She took a seat on the stool centered on the stage in front of a microphone. She wore a black and blue jacket that acted as a dress over a white halter top. Looking out at the audience, her heart beat began to speed. She took a deep breath and closed her eyes preparing for the oncoming embarrassment. This was her first time singing in front of such a large group. Well, here goes nothing... She strummed her fingers across the strings of the guitar and looked at the audience. This was never what she wanted to do with her life, but she had become an expert at it. It was her master who made her perform every night, the earnings going to him. She despised her new master, but not nearly as much as she did her old one for trading her. It was going to be another long night.
