Something I wanted to write. . . because well I was bored.
Dum dum dum . . . hm. . . what should I write? I know, I'll write random stuff about Koi. That will be fun.
Rikka hugged Ryuu tightly, her face buried in his shirt. She loved him . . . she loved him so much and she had to leave him. She was eighteen now, and it was her last day at Koi High School. She could never return to the school. Her dorm room was already empty, everything already packed. Now all she could do was say good-bye to her friends, and be on her way.
"I don't want to leave," Rikka said, her voice muffled by Ryuu's chest. "I don't want to leave," she repeated again. Ryuu was strocking her hair, at first she almost hadn't realized he was even touching her. She looked up into his sad eyes, and she felt like crying.
Ryuu smiled, "I'm sure it won't be for long," Ryuu said, kissing her forehead lightly. "After all, I am your guardian angel . . . Rikka-chan." Ryuu sighed, wrapping his arms around Rikka, forcing their bodies closer together. He did not want to let the person most precious to him go, even though time was.
Rikka pulled away from Ryuu, not wanting to hold him a moment longer. She would leave in only a few minutes, and then that face, that smile, and the wings on his back, everything would be gone. He said that he would see her again, but she was so afraid. She was afraid that her heart would shatter.
Rikka started crying, "I'm going to miss you so much, Ryuu-kun!" she sobbed. She started wiping her eyes on her sleeve, her body overcome by her hiccups. "I don't want to leave, this place is like my home! Everything I have is here, and I have to go home!"
Risa opened the door to the cab, her brown hair falling around her heart shaped face. "Rikka!" she called, desperation and boredom in her voice. "Hurry up! Grandmother is waiting for us! She hasn't been feeling well, do you really want to be the death of her?" Risa was only joking, but it only made Rikka feel worse.
Her two worlds were pulling on her in a tug of war. There was her grandmother, her home, and her sister. Then there was Ryuu. There were so many people who loved her, so many memories that made her mind a jumbled mess; and now she had to choose. She sniffed again.
Ryuu placed his hand on her shoulder, "Go home," he said, kissing her softly on the cheek. "Don't worry so much Rikka. You've changed a lot, but you're still a worry wort. " Ryuu laughed, but Rikka knew otherwise. His eyes were full of pain, and lonliness. "You should relax, just a little."
Rikka hugged Ryuu again, crying hard now. "Ryuu-kun!" She sobbed. They pressed their lips against each other, before Rikka had to run to the cab, just before it pulled away. Rikka pressed her cheek against the window, watching Ryuu slowly fade. He still had a smile on his face, and he even waved to her. She was crying softly.
Risa leaned back in her seat, twirling a white feather between her fingers. "When two people love each other, they have a way of finding each other again." She said. She smiled when Rikka looked at her, and handed her the feather.
"Press it in a book when we get home," Risa said firmly. "Keep it until you get the real thing, until Ryuu can't get away from you again." Risa smiled warmly, "Okay?"
Rikka smiled back at her sister, even though she was still heartbroken. She would try to pick up all the pieces of her shattered glass heart, and wondered how long it would take to put it back together. She held Ryuu's feather in her hand, gently so not to crush it. "Alright," she said softly, "I'll try."
"Good!"
Lalala . . . okay I ran out of ideas. Rikka and Risa are my characters, but Ryuu belongs to Teh Phoenix, the leader of my guild. biggrin Hohum, that was fun.
