Tattoo

Elena passed out next to Ikkaku after an hour or so. She wasn't going to lean over the bed like Kenpachi had done when she nearly had heart attack, so she crawled into the bed with Ikkaku. She knew Kenpachi wouldn't care, because of two reasons.
1: He trusted Ikkaku with Elena. He knew Ikkaku would never try and touch her or hurt her. (outside of training that is)
2: Elena couldn't sleep alone.

She closed her eyes and thought about Ganju.

Ikkaku stirred next to her and woke to see her. He sighed and looked away from her. "I know I probably dissapointed you.I'm sorry. Elena" He put his arm around her and ran his fingers through her hair. Something caught his eyes. He moved the hair on the back of her neck and pulled down the shirt just a little. There was a black tattoo from the back of her neck and he could tell from the curve of it it dragged to her shoulder. It was a symbol. It looked awfully familier. e took aminute to think about it and then it hit him. It was the same symbol that Ichigo's friend had on his pants. His curiosity bit at him and he wanted to wake Elena and ask what the tattoo meant but he didn't want to disturb her slumber. So he waited.

Ganju was sitting and leaning against the wall in the underground tunnel. He tried many times to go to sleep, but she kept popping into his mind. He put his hands on his face and sighed. "All this time she was a Soul Reapers." He thought. "I wonder if sis knew."

He felt something linger over his forhead. It was as if Elena had been in his room. He woke and sat up to look around his room. The first thing he noticed was the door was cracked open. He usually closed the door. He stood up and the second he saw Elena's door open, he knew something was up. Elena allways woke an hour after him. He went to the room to see the bed made and the incense lighted.

"Elena?" He whispered and stared at the incense. "Theres no way you could know about....." His eyes awoken with confusion. he ran out the room and ran into the area where Kukaku, would usually sit at."Sis! Where is she?"

Kukaku didn't answer. She bit her pipe a which was letting out a stream of smoke. Ganju looked around the room and saw Elena was no where. "She has to be with Bonnie!" He ran up the stairs and looked to see Bonnie laying on the ground. He could tell she had a sad look on her face. "Bonnie?"

Ganju looked behind him to see Shiroganehiko and Koganhiko sitting on the ground and staring at it. He ran next to them and grapped Shiroganehiko by the collar. "Why is everyone acting so strange?! Where is Elena?! Where is my Daughter?!" He growled.

Kukaku then walked out and sighed. "She left."
"What do you mean she left? Sis, Where did she go? She was injured and you let her go?Better yet why did she go? It doesn't make since!"
"Ganju!" She made him shut up. " You have to understand. It wasn't easy for me to let her go. She told me she had something to do. And she said she would probably never come back."

Ganju froze. "But! Sis!? Did she tell you why?!"
Kukaku shook her head.
He lowered his head and clinched his fist. "But....this makes no since."
"We can't do anything about it now, Ganju. The best thing to do...is.." she partially choked on her words. "is forget about her."
Ganju's heart felt like it had something break from it. "But...She is my daughter....I mean we even-"
"Ganju! Thats enough!"She glared at him.He made a face that caught her off gaurd. It was the face he made when he talked about Kaien. She walked up to him and grabed him by the collar. "Don't ever, make that face again." She shoved him away and went back into the house.

Ganju wiped his face and sighed. "Elena...."
"Elena? You mean Elena Shikru?" Hanataro spoke while healing Ichigo's wounds.
Ganju's heart jumped to his throat and caused him to stare at him.
"I know her... Shes really sweet... but I ....don't think she trust me. " He looked away from Ganju. "You see, when she first became a Soul Reaper I gave her medicine and well, i kinda poisaned her."
Ganju jumped.
"But don't worry! She's fine!" he waved his hands. Well...Out of curiosity....How do you know her?"

Ganju bit his lip and looked away. "Well.....Before she became a Shinigami...she was....my daughter. But now that i think about it. Maybe i shouldn't of said those things to her."

Hanataro lowered his eyes. "I see...."
"I'm just saying after meeting Ichigo and you.Shinigami....well....some of them seem to be kind.Maybe...After all this time, she hasn't changed."
"I'm sure she hasn't." He smiled. "When I see her she just radiates with joy that makes you feel happy. Shes tough too."
"Yeah.I guess she gets that from me." He smiled. He laid his head back and smiled. "But still....I dont think I could forgive her for not telling me."

"From what I can tell, you would have hated her more. If she told you then, than now." Ichigo tried to sit up. "You know that."
Ganju punched Ichigo in the face which caused him to pass out again. "You dumbass you need to stay asleep. Besides....I might of been angry and hurt by her but.....I could never hate my daughter."

Ganju,Kukaku and the twins quitely stepped into Elena's room.
"Ganju, Are you sure about this?" Kukaku whispered.
"Yeah I'm sure! She told how she wanted to be in a proper family. And what's better to than to make our family complete then to make her an official Shiba?!" He grinned.
"Shut up,You idiot, You wanna wake her up?!" She whispered and punched him.
Shiroganehiko and Koganehiko pushed elena ontp her back. Ganju set up the inks and intruments to tattoo her.

Kukaku lifted her shirt off and stenciled the symbol onto her back using charcoal."Allright, Lets begin."
Ganju handed her a small spaturala shaped intrument and watched as she began to tattoo Elena.
"Happy Birthday. Elena."
