Konichiwa!Hello again fellow gaia members!As I promised I will write whenever I can and whenever there's an interesting event that happened.Having chorus as an elective my teacher promised us a concert.But it wasn't the modern concert that you would actually go to.It was a big performance that includes an ochestra and was directed by a well known conductor.Kent Nagano.So we headed out for UCLA Royce Hall.The place was huge!The whole biulding was carved with many sculptures and the ceiling was painted with holy men and womens.The whole atmosphere was amazing and mesmorazing.When we got inside,I saw the stage, the stage was build with strong wood filled with many lights from above.Great rows of chair was neatly set and when you look up more chairs was up another level and more lights that beams towards the chairs.The ochestra was on stage with their instruments and there was alot of them.Violin,cello,harp,drum,bass,and others that I'm not really familiar of.Once we were seated it took a while before the concert actually started.When it did five speakers placed themselves on the stage.Then the director showed up and the show begins!The music started pretty loud that it startled me(alot).Hehehe.Anyway while the music played the five people told different point of views of poeple,poeple that experienced some of the things that happened a long time ago.On a History.A history that I know a lot of you know of,Pearl Habor.In 1942 the america's entry of World War II.Japanese and American Jappanese were forced to evacuate and live America and many of them were forced to live in a guarded camp.And one of the biggest camp is called Manzanar.Well,the concert lasted for about an hour and one of my friend slept half way through it... neutral Heh.After that we went back to school and have to go to 5th and 6th peroid after all.So that's what happen today.Bye! 4laugh
