I am an idiot.
Now, this is no surprise to some of you *glares*, but yes, I do tend to retain qualities assigned to les buffons.
Except, this is a good idea. Most of one, anyway.
There is this thing called Nanowrimo that happens every November.
It's not a contest or a competition. It's a challenge.
Write 50,000 words between Nov. 1, and Nov. 30. Send the manuscript to them via an encryption method, have a word count verify your work, and receive a shiny little certificate saying you did it.
That's it.
Nifty and neat, huh?
So, yes, Kira is doing this. I've got a book idea that's been skittering around for a while, and it's going to get taken care of. Hopefully. sweatdrop
I even told my Dad and little sister about this. The two author wannabes (of which I am one too, of course blaugh ) are still debating on the veracity of such a mad scheme.
So am I, for that matter.
Wish me luck.
Anyone else wanna participate? [www.nanowrimo.org]
