We took my dog Megan to the vet yesterday, she didn't seem to be doing so well, and our thoughts were correct. Besides getting her the bath that she needed, we found out she had some type of skin infection, thankfully it isn't contagious, I don't have to worry about our other dog catching it. We also found out she's got ear infections in both ears, a thyroid problem, and a tumor above one of her eyes. We have some type of antibiotic to get rid of her skin infection, some drops for her ear infection and pills for her thyroid issue, but were going to give it a few weeks [ I think the decided two weeks ] to see if things improve, if so their going to try removing the tumor; but if things don't get better we've decided we'd just put her to sleep so she wouldn't have to be in pain anymore.
Other than that I had my birthday on the fifth, not much happened... I went to my step sisters on the sixth and she made a big spaghetti and garlic bread dinner with some half chocolate half... I suppose it would be vanilla cake? The white kind.. I really don't know what you would call it besides.. well, white.
^ That was the cake, there was SO much icing. I had to literally wash it down with my glass of soda and get the feeling of it out of my mouth by trying to eat some icecream with each small piece of cake. rofl Let's see, other than that I got my two new hamsters for my birthday, I named the girl Cherry.. and the boy Kerplunk, I had a boy named Fuzzel-butt, but when I woke up the next day after getting him he was dead so I had to get a replacement from petco. We've spent quite a bit there lately.. we got Jaiden a hamster too, she named hers I think it was Johnny? I don't know, but.. yup.. back onto my story of going over to my step sisters shall we? Well, after our dinner, and desert we all changed and climbed into her hot tub, it was a little chilly outside so the warm water was something I was thankful for, Jaiden and I used the lounge seat in the tub as a slide, it was amusing for awhile.
Hm.... other than that I've gotten a letter and picture from my cousin, and a letter from Logan. He sent me roses too, they were really pretty, I'll get the picture up off photobucket in a moment and post it below...
There we go, those are the roses he got me. I also made him and David a bracelet recently, they were pretty nifty if you ask me but they were a pain to make, like.. every time I had all the beads on I would accidentally drop one end and the beads would go EVERYWHERE. It became quite the pain after awhile but after a few tries I finally got the bracelets made and shipped off, I even sent some strawberry shortcake coloring pages that I had been coloring on with Logans, why? I still am not sure, but it sounded like a good idea at that time so oh well. In the time it took me to write this I've gotten A BIT tired, so I think I'm gonna end this and go lurking around the chatterbox some before I go and brush my teeth and crawl into bed.
