The Hunter
Throw the trees she follows her pray. She turns but there is no sign of the slightest movement. The fog is thick as the night seems to be getting darker. “CRACK” She turns to see a shadow in the eerie light of the moon. “My pray” she says in a whisper, her eyes can see as well as if it were a sunny afternoon. She moves closer to the figure in the trees quietly contemplating her next action. The figure begins to run in the direction of an old castle. The fog begins to clear but the figure disappears in the castle’s ominous shadow. “I will find you” she says in a low, threatening voice as if her pray could hear the words she spoke. She gets to the castle doors and walks in without any hesitation. “I know you’re here! Come out and I’ll bring you back safely, don’t and… well lets just say you were to be captured DEAD or alive”. The halls of the old castle were silent, only the wind in the rafters could be heard. She steps into the middle of the entrance hall. Something swipes down and grabs her from behind. “Who said I was going to make it that easy?” the creature whispers in her ear. She quickly escapes his grasp and faces the creature. “I thought you were to scared to fight me one on one, what changed?” she asks mockingly. “Scared? HA” the creature laughed showing his sharp fangs. “What makes you think I’m scared of you?” he sneers. “I finished off your pathetic academy, unfortunately I didn’t get you too. But don’t worry I’ll make sure you’re with thoughs worthless beings you once called friends” he laughed as he came closer. His eyes were black as if he had just died but she knew he was already dead and he had been that way for a long time. The only emotion she could see on his face was hunger, the hunger for another’s life. She looked at him and saw what she had seen from the beginning… a monster. She was ready, ready for whatever was coming.
