Finally home, I thought when i reached the city gates. They were already open, bu for this time of day that would be normal, the none normal sight was how empty the area was of people. Something was very wrong.
I ran to the castle, pushing open the door, and stopped dead in my tracks. No one here except the one man i didn't want to talk to.
"What have you done with m people?!" I yelled at Kratos who happened to be siting on the steps that lead to the upper chambers.
"I did nothing, but i did find this on you throne." He said standing up and handing me the letter.
"How did you get ere before me?" I asked snatching the paper form his hands and looking down to read it. I didn't hear a word Kratos said while my mind comprehended the words of the no.
~~"Lady death, we have your people and know our army is dead. You no longer have a kingdom, so if you want your people alive join us and they can go home."
I collapsed, the people that trusted me were taken prisoner. I re read the paper with those filthy words. there was no name how as i suppose to "join" them anyways.
"Kratos, where is the rest of the note?" I said steadily neutral. I looked up a him and he was his normal grinning arrogant self.
"I don't know what you are talking about." He said holding out his hand probably in order to help me up, not like i would accept it.
I std up ignoring his hand and went back to glaring at him, "There is more to a not like this, where is it?" I asked getting mad at him.
His smile faltered a bit then he shrugged, "I only saw that piece. If there was more i did nothing with it." He said the smile told me he was lying I pulled my rapier that still had the blood from my enemies upon it and pointed it at Kratos's neck. "Speak true or meet your death."
Kratos took a step back laughing. Here i was pointing my weapon, that had killed hundreds of people in the last battle alone, at his through and he's laughing. I kicked him hard in the gut, which nicely made his laughter stop and him topple over. Seeing him fall on his but made me smile an i put a food on his chest to keep him there. My smile must have warned him because when my fist went down hard at his face he lifted is arms and blocked my hit.
"Now, now Shiva don't act childish. I did it because i'm sure that the meeting was to assassinate you. How would you be able to save your kingdom if you die?" He asked with his smirk still upon his face.
"Kratos I am not an idiot I am not oing to meet anyone. I planed on following them when they decided i wasn't going to show back to where they come from."
"They do not travel like you do, so your plan would hve failed."
:that reminds me, how did you get here so fast?" I asked standing up looking down at him.
