True story involving something I bought over the internet.
HERE is where I bought it.
'cute,' huh?
I was wondering why it was taking so long to come to me. After nearly a month of waiting, here is an actual description of what happened taken from the website I bought it from:
Description Update Note: This item has been delayed by the distributor until further notice. Apparently, the freight container was stopped by US Customs control because the boxes said the word 'Death' on them. They are pending review and should be release for distribution in about a week.
Update 12/8/07: Our maximum pre-order take has been filled. Any orders made for this item after the date of this note will be tougher to fill. I'll do my best to get more in, so stay tuned.
True story. I laughed my a** off.
L: Adorable chibi nendroid figure, or threat to national security?
You decide.
heart HAPPY EDIT:: heart December 22, 2007--I received my purchase without damage! He has a place on my revered figure shelf now. I need to take loads of pictures and put them up here--hey, some people have kids; I have my toys.
Turns out it was so 'darn adorable' that not only do my friends Sakura and Chelsea want them, but I am addicted to the darn things. Do you have any idea how much fun it is to put these guys together and change their parts and stuff!? Now I am saving up for a Light Yagami--and possibly a Misa Amane--to go with him. Nendroid figures... don't knock 'em 'till 'ya try 'em.
But at nearly 50 dollars each, I wonder if I'll ever save up for a car.
