For those of you that know me it may not seem like I'm that smart or that easily annoyed by things but some times me and my friends can get into some heated discussions, and usually from things that are completely pointless. Here's one such discussion between my friend Joel and myself. If you're actually a decent human being, you'll read through this for the points brought up about our society and, in our opinion, its flaws. If your attention is too easily averted or you just don't give a damn, don't even bother with this.....

A) Its wasn't sake he drank, it was "Elyxer"
B) Lee didnt sound drunk, he sounded like he was mentally chanlanged
C) They ******** called it, not the Drunken Fist, but the "Loopy Fist (or Punch)"

TheLaughingMan08 (12:23:59 AM): i dont get it though bcause they swore and bled in the begining books, but now all of a sudden they said "no! kids read it now so no more of that."

TheFatOneJoel (12:24:40 AM): they think that if kids are exposed to it, it'll corrupt them

TheFatOneJoel (12:25:14 AM): it's funny though, cuz they don't realize they're actually making the children more prone to these things by making them inaccessible

TheLaughingMan08 (12:25:40 AM): i found out about that stuff when i was a kid and i'm just fine

TheLaughingMan08 (12:25:56 AM): i dont drink or smoke anything

TheFatOneJoel (12:26:22 AM): the oldest i was when i found out about the last of the "bad things" was 11
TheFatOneJoel (12:26:54 AM): before then, i knew about alcohol, sex, close to every swear word out there

TheLaughingMan08 (12:27:25 AM): yeah, i dont understand why they changed it when most of our generation turned out ok

TheFatOneJoel (12:28:28 AM): all it boils down to is that the people in control right now are just pissed at their own parents
TheFatOneJoel (12:29:08 AM): they got in trouble for certain things, and now even though they do those things anyway, they outlaw them to make themselves seem better than what they are

TheLaughingMan08 (12:30:24 AM): yeah, everyone can make a few mistakes though, and as long as you say to yourself "Well that was dumb... i probably shouldn't do that...." everything would be fine

TheFatOneJoel (12:32:25 AM): in reality, they were asking for it, but they're found to be completely innocent

TheLaughingMan08 (12:33:20 AM): i know, and they're not even supposed to be on there. there is an age limit and even untill you're 18 your page is unreadable unless the person is your friend
TheLaughingMan08 (12:33:33 AM): but they change the age to 18 so people can see it

TheFatOneJoel (12:33:45 AM): actually it's 16, but close enough

TheLaughingMan08 (12:33:46 AM): even so

TheFatOneJoel (12:34:47 AM): when a person kills themself, or even so much as cuts themself, people usually get mad at the person that "caused" the first to harm themselves
TheFatOneJoel (12:35:29 AM): those people are just too foolish in my opinion, and they can't accept that not everything in life is all flowers and unicorns
TheFatOneJoel (12:35:38 AM): if that analogy makes any sense to ya

TheLaughingMan08 (12:36:31 AM): yeah it does, thoes people are dumb. it's like they didnt grow up as a child to be able to face how life actually is outside of thier house

TheFatOneJoel (12:37:37 AM): and guess who that kind of mentality stems from? let me make you a slight chain:

"victim" <-- parents <-- media <-- censors
TheFatOneJoel (12:38:25 AM): the censors put rules on how the media portrays things, and says what is and isn't good for you, the parents see that, and instead of being a parent they try to be the kid's best friend

TheLaughingMan08 (12:39:17 AM): so the child doenst know how things work and is bound to fail as it grows

TheFatOneJoel (12:39:43 AM): all because they were either given into, or not punished properly

TheLaughingMan08 (12:39:56 AM): and even if they try to learn, all media is censored so they don't get all the facts

TheFatOneJoel (12:40:26 AM): therefor making them think that things will always go their way, and if it doesn't then they just have to wait about 5 minutes
TheFatOneJoel (12:41:16 AM): when that time passes and things still don't go their way, they think the end of the world has come and not being able to take the reality, they resort to a permanent solution for a problem that could have been solved using some simple thought

TheLaughingMan08 (12:42:00 AM): or saying "Well that sucks... oh well." and going about the rest of your day

TheFatOneJoel (12:42:46 AM): but oh no, the world focuses on him/her and they think, "i'll show the world how bad off it'll be without me"
TheFatOneJoel (12:43:23 AM): in turn not realizing that even though a few may be distraught from the decision, the rest of the world goes about its business without giving a flying ********

TheLaughingMan08 (12:45:24 AM): yeah, and the thing with the people who kill themselves after taking people with them. The media televises that and the others who are going to kill themselves see it and say "Wow they were famous... I want everyone to know I exist too!"

TheFatOneJoel (12:46:05 AM): and then it's one big ******** orgy of stupid and sensless bloodspill

TheLaughingMan08 (12:46:27 AM): and no one is trying to fix it

TheFatOneJoel (12:47:15 AM): instead they just let things continue, not realizing that the cause of this is the people who are supposedly protecting society from the cruelties of "the real world"

TheLaughingMan08 (12:48:50 AM): and as it continues it just gets worse with more poeple doing it and it therefore gets harder and harder to fix the problem

TheFatOneJoel (12:50:35 AM): funny part is, no one in this day and age with any power to do anything will

TheLaughingMan08 (12:51:50 AM): that's another thing i dont understand, i get that people want nice things (heck even i do) but why in the world does anyone need a million dollars to just sit there and do nothing?
TheLaughingMan08 (12:52:30 AM): everyone should just earn enough to make a nice living and mabe give a little back to help people that can't

TheFatOneJoel (12:53:21 AM): but instead they hoard the money, making themselves seem important to the public
TheFatOneJoel (12:53:53 AM): though they gain the fame, they just end up becoming no better than the rest of the scum that inhabits the planet

TheLaughingMan08 (12:54:08 AM): and when you have all that money you'll eventually die, and then what good is it?
TheFatOneJoel (12:54:53 AM): there's always the choice of leaving it to an heir, thinking that the deceased then made a difference
TheFatOneJoel (12:55:32 AM): they might have, but too much money usually corrupts whoever has it and the cycle repeats again

TheLaughingMan08 (12:56:13 AM): then the person who gets it becomes no better and just hordes more of it, dies, and starts the process over again

TheFatOneJoel (12:57:21 AM): in the meantime, you've got the handful of the human race trying to do good for the rest of society, but they're always shot down by those who don't agree

TheLaughingMan08 (12:58:06 AM): because poeple today have the mindset that if they dont like it, it must end or change to fit their needs and desires

TheFatOneJoel (12:58:50 AM): funny though how if it weren't for change, this world would be completely different than it is now

TheLaughingMan08 (1:01:01 AM): all that really needs to happen to fix stuff though is for people to suck up their pride/ beliefs and accept/ act civil to one another, even if they aren't sincere with it
