Why people always associate darkness to evil or to bad things? Maybe because when there is dark is when most crimes happen, or maybe because long time ago, the predator animals would usually hunt people at night? Because most people are scared at the darkness when they are little? Because we can't see what lurks in there, and we are afraid when we don't know what surround us?
Fear of the dark...Is that something we should really fear? Everyday people die in car crashes, then why cars aren't seen as an evil thing? Slipping in the bathtub, that also kill lot of people, is the bathtub something bad? I wonder... Maybe bathtubs and cars are evil, and maybe we should be scared of them... Then again, maybe not. What we need to do is to respect and remember safety rules or procedures, that way we can be safer and better avoid the accidents, so we should not fear the dark, what we need to do is... Always have a flashlight with us.
