I kid you not. That's pretty much word for word what a PM I've received in the past week said. Down to the spelling of 'Pora'. How the hell can you get that out of Pora Ice?
And then, there's stuff like this-
'Can you sell me your Katana for 30k because I got hacked? Oh, and all this expensive stuff i'm wearing is borrowed, it's not actually mine sad '
I like to think i'm relatively generous to people. If they're straight up with me, and obviously trying to be civil and, you know, not talking like a troll, i'll generally be nice. But such blatant rudeness and attempts to sucker people in just don't work.
Another example. I recently sold my Chyaku Norisu. I put it up, someone put one or two a bit lower than mine, and that's fine- I mean, I had it up for five days, and I wasn't in any rush.
Two days into the sale, I get this-

I can't help it. I sent back a message saying 'You're kidding, right?'
He replies with-

Please note I never put things up for auction. So I was quite rude to him. He hasn't messaged me since. Such a shame rolleyes
You've got to wonder if these tricks ever work for the trolls. They must do, because they just keep doing it.
Am I a Grinch? Do I just have no faith in Gaia-kind anymore?
