This morning, Cinnamon happened to chew a hole through the wire mesh on the top of his glass cage! It had been hours, and we still hadn't found him. I was REALLY worried about Cinnamon! We had to lock the cats in the bathroom and gave them access to the basement, so they would leave Cinnamon alone.
This happened WAY later:
My mom went to check on the plate of food that we set out, and there was teeth marks on the cheerio. Then she told me to keep looking, cuz she knew he was alive. I went to the head of the stairs, and, saw him right inside my mom's bedroom! I wasn't thinking, cuz I was too surprised, shouted "He's here!". But luckily, he didn't move, cuz he was frozen like a statue. We snuck up on him to try to catch him, but he ran and took a left. I thought he went under my mom's bed. Me and my mom went in the room, while my two sisters blocked the door. We didn't see him under the bed, so we searched more. My mom barely took ANY time at all, and found him in a crack between my dad's dresser and the wall! It was amazing that there happened to be a box blocking so he couldn't get under the dresser. Cinnamon cornered himself! My mom tried grabbing him and he crawled up her arm and scared her and he squealed. My mom caught him! we put him in his carrier, and put him back in his cage. I had to keep an eye on him while my mom went to my grandma's house to get a screen from a window to put on top on the cage so he couldn't get out through the hole again. He was really hyper. My mom kept telling me to check on him, and one time I did, and I didn't see him at first. But then I did, and he was so CUTE! He was curled up in a little ball in his food dish. I got my mom and my older sister to look at him. Well, I'm happy that he is alright. Now I can get to bed tonight.
