“I have a feeling that won’t happen.” He let go of her arm and motioned for her to lead the way. “After you.” She walked ahead and they were soon taking the long route to home of the Vampires.
Back at the Warehouse.
Kotoro had fainted and Damascus was close to fainting. He could tell that the spell had worked because his wounds had healed, his demonic features had gone away and that they were still alive. But he could also sense that a familiar being was back and that he was making his way to the mansion.
Damnit. Kotoro is too weak to do anything and I don’t have the strength to get to my Coven in time to stop this from happening! Damascus walked over to Kotoro’s body and revived him. “This is no time for you to sleep!”
“Sir?”
“We need to get back to the Coven. Terrance is back. And I can bet my position that my daughter is with him.”
“That can’t be! We banished him to Apolla’s realm! He can’t be back!”
“Oh but he is. The spell required that the lover’s were to be split up. But we broke the spell which enabled him to come back.”
“Great. Now is the time that I can shed some blood again.” Kotoro smiled but the smile didn’t last long when Damascus glared at him.
“There will be no blood shed until they have both regained their memories!”
“Yes sir.” Kotoro said the command word and opened the portal back to the coven. They stepped through then went their separate ways.
Back in the forest
“How much longer till we get there?” Terrance was walking beside Rei when the Mansion suddenly came into view.
“We have another five minutes to go.” Rei said, not wanting to start up a conversation.
“Five minutes?” Terrance looked at her and resisted the urge to just walk up to her and kiss her.
“Do you have hearing problem?”
“No. It just seems to be so close!”
“Then why…never mind.” Rei started to jog in attempt to get a little distance from the man. Terrance saw through the ploy however, and caught up to her.
“Are you trying to avoid me?”
“What is it to you?”
“I’m just wondering.” He grabbed her arm again and looked her in the eyes. “You seem pretty interested in getting rid of me.”
“Your point is?”
Instead of answering he swooped in and kissed her. She gasped and tried to pull away but Terrance used his Succubus powers to keep her in his grasp. Finally after what felt to be eternity he let go of her.
“What was that for?” Rei said taking a step backwards.
“You shouldn’t be so beautiful. It was temptation.”
“Temptation huh? That’s your excuse?” Rei said as she blushed.
“And a lot more.” He sighed. “Do you mind if I kiss you again?”
“Yes. But that’s not going to stop you is it?”
“No.” He kissed her again but this time she kissed back. This lasted for a minute then Terrance finally stepped back. “You’re a damn good kisser!”
Rei blushed but continued walking. They finally reached the forest edge.
“This is where I…they live. I might be given amnesty but…”
“But what?”
“I’m not sure.” Terrance noticed the hesitant notes in her voice but didn’t mention it.
“Well… we’re not going to find out if we just stand here are we?”
“No. Your right.” Rei started walking again. The lights of the mansion were on and there were vampires that were lazing about the lawn.
“Welcome back Princess!” One of them smiled. “We thought you had died fighting a most glorious battle with the flea-bitten Lycans!”
“And as you can see I have not. It’s good to see you again Andreas. How goes things?”
“Things go well on the outside but the Elders…”
