You know, looking back on the year, I see tons of newer faces I've met, closer relationships I've made, a few relationships I've nearly destroyed, increased skill, and more experience.
Looking on the year to come, I'm not sure. Four words, the main ideas of the Edge at CABC, come to mind. Grow, Discover, Be Real, and Encourage. We GROW everyday, towards the next day of our life, towards new circumstances and possibilities no one person has ever dreamed of. We DISCOVER life in many aspects all the time, even while sleeping, by taking a risk or playing a game. We all need to BE REAL because there's no time like the present to go ahead and play the game, win; to laugh and make friends; to tell that certain someone how you really feel; to be you, plain and simple, and the easiest choice instead of covering to be cool or fit in. We ENCOURAGE to continue; to get past a death in the family or a loss of friend because everything happens and there's no way to stop it, so don't blame yourself and smile at the next minute.
I'd like you all to live life to the fullest. Never look back. You have all the time in the world, but every second can be a wasted lifetime. Smile and chat, live and grow. Take risks and laugh. There's no time like the present.
