The words weighed heavily in the air
the instensity of them made her stare
wondering how He could possibly care
and curious to see if He was really there

He talk to her deeply
she was moved by His sincerity
He said he loved her dearly
she listened intently

she was appalled at his statement
so bold so concecrated
and she hated
the way it made her feel so jaded

but there was something in His eyes
she knew He saved her from her demise
and everything in herself she used to despise
was now holy and pure paid with the Greatest Price

and when she feel the walls are caving in on her
she always looked up to her savior
she knew He would always rescue her helpless soul
and gladly put straight the record

she is whiped clean of the pain
with the mercy of the rain
the beauty of grace
the brilliance of His face
