Rose
Realizing that everything was under control up here, and that there was trouble- she could feel there was trouble with the others, Rose left the bridge at full speed. She ran fast and hard for all of three seconds, before Nari whispered something in her ear. She had forgotten about the pixie, since it had been silent when it needed to be. But once it said that short phrase- "flying is faster"- Rose pulled up and flew threw the halls on her fairy-wings. Her forehead jewel still blazed red.

Taran
Having managed what had to be with the young dragon Xink, Taran was too weak to notice that Xangord was enraged and about to attack him. He turned in time to see her growing to full dragon size, and behind her, he thought he saw another dragon starting to do the same. Before he could summon lightening even, Xangord struck him. At first, it was a slash with her talons across his chest, which knocked him backwards. As the Maru exploded, Taran was sent backwards further. But not far enough to be safe from the reach of an angry mother dragon. He was flat on his back, but he pulled lightening up into his hands- all he could muster, though it was barely enough to kill a human, and probably wouldn't do much but sting a dragon. He held out his hands as Xangord's jaws came, ready to bite him in half, just as Dragon yelled "EVERY BODY STOP!". And with that first syllable, she sent ice to Taran and Xangord, freezing them solid. Taran almost had to laugh, when Rose flew into the cargo bay. He remembered that the first time they met, he was encased in ice, much like now.
As Dragon let them go at the insistence of Xangord, Taran simply let his hands and his head fall to the floor. He had already lost the spark of electricity he had held; maintaining it in ice was difficult in ordinary circumstances. And the feats he had just recently performed were not ordinary. He remained conscious, but only just. The wound across his chest bled profusely, even though the ice Dragon threw at them had slowed it a bit. He took slow, steadied breaths, and tried to assess his situation. It was not as good as he had hoped.

Rose
Flying into the cargo bay just a moment after hearing Dragon yell at the top of her lungs, Rose was taken aback. There were quite a few more people in the cargo bay than had gone down to the planet- not including those they had been sent to rescue. And most of them were... frozen?
She knew ice was Dragon's thing, but everyone seemed to be talking to Dragon at once, pleading with her to let them go, for some reason or another. And she did let Xangord go, and... Taran in ice again? Rose smiled a bit at the sight. It didn't last long, and as the ice melted and Xangord ran to Xink, who seemed confused, Taran, who was already lying on the floor, let his head fall.
Rose tried to comprehend what was going on, and was about to turn to Dragon to ask her, when two things simultaneously occurred. Nissa asked Dragon what was going on and Dragon said she didn't know, and Rose saw a pool of blood start to grow from under Taran.
Flying over to him, Rose saw the huge tears across his chest. She could see rib-bones. Some of them were broken.
Taking in a breath, and trying to keep an eye on Dragon, so she might be able to understand something about this debacle, Rose began to use her magic to try to heal Taran. As she looked at the wound more closely, she growled. She doubted any Renstock weapon could so closely imitate dragon talons.
"What on GAIA happened here?!" Rose said, addressing the question to Dragon, or any other somewhat sane being in the room. With the way Nogard was still behaving, it was a limited audience.
