Basically my week in the avatar arena can be summed up with one word. It sucked. My overall ranking ended up a 6.786. Apparently, I have discovered that if your avatar isn't n00bish or cluttered or a cosplay, then you're never going to get in the Arena Spotlight, even if your avatar design has a classy look and an awesome description. I think I'm going to retire officially from the arena until I can make an avatar that costs an insane amount of money. Honestly it makes no sense. Maybe I should have put my Platinum Form on even though it would make no sense. Right now though paying 1000 gold for entering an avatar in the arena is just a waste of gold and time. 	The reality is this: Gaia is overrun with a bunch of young punks who think very differently than the rest of us. They hold the majority and therefor, in a voting place, right or wrong - they rule. They live to insult. You can tell by (from previous experience when I made my Kiki ride the elemental hair and flipped my avatar around so you couldnt see nothing but the water hair and the cat) putting in a entry the day after an item comes out and geting 5 people going "How many times have I seen this?" Uhm.. NONE! Or the time Trunks entered and called himself the King of Japan. Someone actually gave him a 1 because "Kings in Japan are Emporers, you should know that. You fail." Well come on.. if you were king you could call yourself whatever you wanted. lol. And at any rate, that has nothing to do with the look of the avatar does it? You should find privately held avatar contests with responsible / trustworthy people and enter there. You would stand a better chance with more real chances of being respected. 	I had that same experience in the arena. . . got comments like "Its too plain, you only used like, what 8 items?" and then I got more like "whoa! too cluttered!" . . . And some who down voted just because I used their favorite goddess in the description and took it in a creative direction "Artemis is my fav. goddess, and you took her virginity!". . blah blah blah.
