I drive away from the intersection and look over at her. "Come on, you seriously don't think I believe that we're going to Texas to kill the president, do you?" she asks. I look at her," You need to believe me because its the truth." I look back at the road to make sure that we dont get into an accident. I look back at her quuickly. I can see that she still doesnt believe me. So, I tell her everything that happened in the past few days.

When i finish, I look back at her, she's looking out her window. I reach over and touch her shoulder, she jumps slightly but looks at me, giving a small smile. I know she believes me now. I wish that this wasnt the reason we were going to texas. I wish we were going to move to texas to live and love. Not to kill the president. She says, "Well why dont we just not go to Texas, why dont we go to California or someplace?" I sigh," I've already told you that theyve got everything bugged, so we dont really have a choice." Thanks to the drug I can hear everything she mutters under her breath. "We always have achoice." I decide not to push on, I'd rather not start another fight between the two of us. For a long time we drove in silence. I dared not say anything that mihgt raise another arguement. I suddenly hated myself. Hated myself for dragging her into my problems.

We continued in silence until the Massachusetts border. he oly thing that she said was, "How long until we get there?" I shrugged," I dont know." We remain in silence for half the drive throughn Massachusetts. When we got halfway into MAssachussets she finaly spoke, "I can't not talk to you for the entire trip. So, do you really want me to call you that name that they gave you? If so, we need to get one for me. Hmmm... how about-no- maybe... no, I cant think of anything, how bout you?" I look at her, all of the anger and all other emotions except happiness and love have left her, I think I'm safe to speak freely" Horsewing."



I can't really concentrate right now, maybe its cause the music is blaring in the background but it worse in silence. So I'll finish writing this some other time.
