"Suchiton - Steam Release"
Clan Ability, C-Ranked
An ability unique to the Sokusuru clan. By combining the Katon and Suiton, the founders of the Sokusuru clan invented Suchiton. Essentially it allows it's wielder to create steam within the air around them by super heating the water molecules in the air with Katon chakra. Then, by feeding Suiton chakra into the smaller amounts of steam, they can make the mass even bigger. Generally, the amount of steam created depends on the amount of chakra exerted. This steam can be used in a variety of different jutsu that are also unique to the Sokusuru clan. Suchiton is normally not achieved until Chunin level when the second chakra element is aquired.
"Suchiton: Hamaguri Chigiri - Steam Release: Clammy Destiny"
Clan Ability, C-Ranked, Mid-Close Range, Ninjutsu
Hamaguri Chigiri causes the air within a fifteen foot radius around the user to become a light, yet effective steamy vapor. Though barely noticeable, this vapor will cause the opponent's skin to become "sticky", as though they are sweating profusely. With their skin sticking to their clothing and also to their weapons, the opponent will not only be tortured by their own existence, but slowed down dramatically.
"Suchiton: Kinmotsu Iki - Steam Release: Forbidden Breath"
Clan Ability, B-Ranked, Mid-Close Range, Ninjutsu
Kinmotsu Iki causes the air within a fifteen foot radius around the user to become a light, yet effective steamy vapor. When the opponent tries to inhale within this radius, the user of the jutsu will increase the temperature of the steam to an unbareabley high level. Inhaling will then cause the opponent's mouth, esophagus, and lungs to be scolded immensely.
"Suchiton: Kyuusei - Steam Release: Salvation"
Clan Ability, A-Ranked, Long-Mid Range, Ninjutsu
Kyuusei causes a the air within a hundred foot radius of the user to become a thick steam which is so dense that even some of the Sokusuru clan members even have trouble seeing through it. The only effective way to see through it is with the Sharingan or Byakugan. While within this radius every movement the opponent makes will cause a sharp pain to course through their body. At first the pain isn't horrible, just enough to slow them down slightly. However, the longer the opponent stays within the radius, the more brutal the pain becomes. After five minutes within the radius it would feel as though they are being impaled through the top of the head by a seven-foot long needle which makes it's way out the other side.
"Suchiton: Nokkiru - Steam Release: Overcome"
Clan Ability, A-Ranked, Long-Mid Range, Ninjutsu
Nokkiru causes a the air within a hundred foot radius of the user to become a thick steam which is so dense that even some of the Sokusuru clan members even have trouble seeing through it. The only effective way to see through it is with the Sharingan or Byakugan. The steamy air will then become relatively hot, first making the opponent light-headed, then incredibly dizzy, then nautious. If continued, the opponent will either pass out or die from being overheated.
Clan Background:
The Sokusuru clan was one of the most talented clans in Kirigakure. Famed for their invention of "Suchiton" or "Steam Release", the Sokusuru clan lived a rich life in one of the wealthiest areas of Kirigakure. Because of their inclination to both Katon and Suiton and their constant training in both arts, the Sokusuru clan can withstand abnormally high temperatures, as well as maneuver perfectly while under water. Also, because of the large amount of time they spend around hot steam, their skin is a pale red and most of the members are slim.
When the war took place against the Kaguya clan, the Sokusuru clan was ordered to turn every ounce of mist within the area into steam, which they used to create considerable odds against the opponent. Nevertheless, all but three members of the clan were killed that day. The survivors were toddlers at that time and may not have learned of their true heritage and the Suchiton.
