Chapter one!
"Pirates are coming, Pirates are coming!"The man rushed through the city screaming at the top of his voice. The man was trying to get to the castle as fast as he could. He then ran passed a few high-class women. They see the man then started to talk. There were three of them. One in a blue dress, top part a bit purplish. Another one was wearing a red dress, her top part pinkish. The last one was wearing a green dress, her top part, blackish. The red one says to the other two."Pirates? Attacking Polica, this little city? Nonsense. It would never happen in a thousand years."Though the city really wasn't small. She laughs some and the green one says as she takes out her fan and swings it a bit."Who knows, maybe someone a thousand years ago said that and it is happening now."She sighs some then the blue one says in a quite voice."We-well the whole city is go-going up in panic. may-maybe we should find some shel-shelter."The one in the red dress looks around as some of the villagers take the man's word for the pirates. She then sighs then nods."Fine, fine! Lets head back to the castle."The other two ladies nod then they head off.
The city was mostly all white. The buildings made of white bricks and the ground felled with a gray colored cement. The place where boats dock was a grass land. It had a dock no less and it was perfect for people to just sit and relax. The main place, the Castle of Polica, was a fabulous thing to behold. The castle was a shining white color with golden tops in certain places. It was surrounded by a river. Nothing dangerous in them at all, just a playful and nice river. This was a kingdom of Joy, but soon that will all change. As what the man said was true. Pirates were attacking, but not just yet. Our story now begins with a boy named Shadow, and his girlfriend, Megami.
"Are we getting close to the island yet, Megami?"Shadow tilts his head some as he leads the boat in the direction of the town. Megami, sitting on top of the look out tower, answers back to him in a normal everyday tone."We are close, we should be there by night fall."Shadow nods a few times then sets the wheel so it would stay straight."That is good, I was tired of seeing no one but you."Shadow winced some knowing that might not be the brightest thing to say, so he backed it up as Megami gave him a death glare."But, being with you is always awesome!" Megami laughs some softly then starts climbing down the ladder toward him."Hehe, you know I can never be mad at you."She finally gets down then stands next to him.
Megami is a fox girl. So far the only one of her kind. Not many people can say they have or saw a fox girl in real life so Shadow is pretty lucky to have her as a girlfriend. Megami wore dark orange pants with a dark yellow short sleeve shirt. Her hair was black, so it was weird for her to wear clothes like these. Her fox ears and tail were also black, but were always hidden in a hat and in her pants, so only Shadow knew she was a fox girl, so he also had to keep it a secret. Also Megami meant goddess and the first time he met her she claimed to be a goddess, but of what was the real question. Shadow turned around toward the deck of the ship to see across the sea where the island was."It should be around one whole day before we get there right Megami?"Shadow was now turned toward Megami as he talked. Megami nods a few times before smiling."Yeah, shouldn't be long, we should arrive at night, tonight. So far now I am going in side. See you."Megami about-faces then walks inside. Shadow nods then looks out for a moment at the town."Seems like a nice day, and maybe a even better night. Guess I will go to sleep for now."Shadow sets the course then walks down the stairs, shadow opens the door then walks inside to his room.
Meanwhile at the castle.... "Pl-please sir, I can gi-give you anything you want, ju-just don't take my kingdom."It was the king. He was laying down in front of his throne, hurt. He was wearing a gold crown, white shirt with white pants and a gold like jacket around him. He was a bit on the short side, but nonetheless the king. He had a man towering over him. He was huge, at least 7'5 or more. He was also bulky in the arms, legs and chest. He wore long black pants with a black shirt. It had a red skull on it with a knife in the skulls mouth, symbolizing his crew. His hair was short and he wore a bandanna over his head. His voice was deep and rugged."No...I think I will just take it all. Your daughter, your kingdom, your gold.."He laughs then grabs the king by his arm."Oi! Rage and Raine, get your asses in here!"The pirate yells to both of them before growling a bit. Rage and Raine slowly starts to walk in. Rage being a boy with a brown ragged shirt with ragged pants and chains on his hands and feet. Also having brown short hair. Raine being a girl with a ragged dress on, same as Rage, having chains on. Her also with long black hair. Rage walks up to the man as Raine stands at the door or the room."Yes, Mr. Sergo. How may I help you?"Rage bows down then looks up at him as he does. Sergo tosses the King over to him."Throw him into the dungeon and lock him up!"Sergo yells out the command before walking over to the throne and sitting down in it. Making it stretch out a lot. Rage nods to him before taking the King's hands and ragging him out the throne room."Pl-please...no sir. Not my kingdom, not my daughter. Take anything else bu-but my daughter! No! No! No!....."As Rage drags him down the hall, Sergo could hear the words go farther and farther away until it was silent."Hmph! Good, he is gone." Rage, still pulling the king, stops at the gate of his castle."Look! King....you must leave her immediately! Go find help, get a arm or something! He will help, just make sure they are strong. Now go!!"Rage pushes the king out the castle then the king starts running down the streets of the city. Rage sighs then turns around and sees Raine, looking at him."You did it again! You saved yet another person. If Sergo finds out-" "So what if he finds out! Hopefully this time we will have help. I am just gaining every opportunity I can to set us free! Raine..."Rage gently grabs her shoulders."I want us to be free, I love you Raine. And being around him won't help anything! So please....please someone come and help us!"Rage hugs Raine and Riane hugs him back."Oi!"Sergo yells out."Rage come back and sharpen my blade!"Rage growls then starts to walk off."Be careful...."Raine says in a soft voice. Rage stops nods then starts to walk toward Sergo. Raine turns around, sighs then walks down to the chambers.
Back on the ship which is now docked at the port of the city.....Shadow walks outside of his room onto the deck of the ship, stretching some."Ahhhhh such a nice night. So wonderful, so glorious, so-" "Stop where you are! You are under arrest under the command of Sergo."A man in black pants and black shirt with a skull on his shirt, holding a knife in its mouth. But the thing was, it wasn't just one person. It was a whole group of them. Standing and holding guns at Shadow. Shadow's smile slowly turns into a frown. He then thinks in his head as he puts his arms up. "I hope Megami doesn't come ou-" "Shadow! Where are you?!" Megami yells as she comes outside."Oh there you are."She runs over to him before slowly stopping, seeing all the men. She then jumps behind Shadow. She softly whispers to Shadow."Shadow...who are they....?"Shadow shrugs some before slowly stepping towards them. Shadow whispers back to her."I do not know, but we should listen to them for now."Megami nods as they finally get on the cement. The men surround them then starts walking them to the castle.
At the castle chambers...Raine is walking down there with a candle to light her way. She continues to walk till she gets to a chamber with a young girl in it. Around the age of fifteen. She had long yellow hair, a white dress with a gold crest in the middle. She didn't have shoes on since they came off when she was kicking away. Her stocking were also torn when she was thrown into the cell. She looked really sad, sad that she was in a cell."Princess Reli...."Reli looks over to her then crawls over to the bars, holding them tight."Please, please let me out! I will do anything, I don't want to be with that man! Please, please!"Reli begged and plead to Raine. Raine just sighs some then tries to open the lock with her hands."I will try my best...."Reli smiles then waits. As Raine tries to open the bars someone was heard walking toward them. They weren't holding a candle so it was hard to tell who it if he was Rage or....someone else. The walking noise got louder and louder and as it did, Raine continued to try to get the princess out."Raine...just get out of here. We can do this another time...."The princess whispers to Raine. Raine Shakes her head and continues to try and open it."No...I will get you out now...."She continues, the noise got louder and louder until it just stopped. The princess covers her mouth then slowly moves backwards. Raine, at that time felt a hand touch her shoulder. She slowly turns and then sees.....
Back to Shadow and Megami. They were now walking up the stairs to the throne room. Shadow sighs some as he gets to the door to the throne room. One of the men opens the door to the throne room then walks them inside to Sergo. Sergo looks up as they come in."What the? More weaklings for the chamber? Keep rounding them up and we won't have enough room and will just have to kill them off."Sergo laughs out loud, hurting Shadow's ears. Shadow blinks a few times before tilting his head some."You seem really stupid."Sergo stops laughing slowly then stares at Shadow before getting up and walking over to Shadow, standing dead in front of him."Ehhh, got some'in to say!?!? Little rat!"Shadow waves his hands in front of his own nose."Wow bad breath too...."Sergo was about to punch Shadow when he heard Megami laugh. He smirks then turns toward her, his head then looking back at Shadow a bit."Heh...you'er got a real perdy girl here."He reaches out then grabs her by her arms, holding her up. Megami squirms trying to get free."Let go of me you freak!"Megami screams as she continues to squirm. Shadow grows then takes out his sword from his pocket which was in dagger form."Drop her now!."Sergo smirks then shakes her a bit, as he does Megami's hat comes off, revealing her black fox ears and long black hair. Her black fox tail then comes out her pants."Oh crap...."Megami says softly."Damn it...."Shadow says furiously. Sergo laughs out bluntly before looking over at Shadow."A fox girl eh!!! I guess I will keep'er."He laughs again before swing his huge arm at Shadow. Shadow jumps over his hand then onto his back. As he does this Rage walks in."I heard something happening up here and.....came to....check.....it out."Rage blinks a few times before leaning against the door some."Finally....someone is here..."Rage says silently to himself. Shadow looks over at the person who came in as Shadow lands on his back."Big mistake!"Sergo yells as rock spikes come out his back and stab Shadow in his left arm, right leg and chest, just barely missing his heart. Shadow's eyes go wide as he gets stab. Sergo smirks then makes the spikes go back into his back. Shadow falling off, eyes wide and motionless."Sh-Sha-Shadow.....no."Megami's eyes go wide as she sees shadow laying there on th ground, not moving."Shadow no!"Megami starts to wiggle and squirm around, trying to break free."SHADOW!"
