I shook my head in disbelief and when I opened my eyes the blue sparks where gone and everything looked like it should. Just then a man came out of one of the stalls and when he started to walk to the door I said "excuse me sir did you see the other man that was in this restroom just a second
”Ago?"
"No" He said, he looked at me like I was insane.
"Oh, alright sorry" I said
He left the room looking at me like he should call someone; I just ignored him and looked under all the stalls to see if I could see and feet their where none, so I pulled the small oval out of my pocket. It took a second because it was so small and when I did take it out I realized It was silver with two dark blue lines going down the right side. When I looked closely I could almost make you some numbers and letters but it was too small, it was smooth and had a futuristic feel to it. I looked up and checked my back it was fine, it was bloody and hurt pretty bad but nothing that was too serious. I turned on the sink and tried to wash it but as you could guess it was nearly imposable. So finally I gave up and started out the door and just then I heard a high-pitched scream, I had to cover my ears or if felt like it was vibrating my brain. I darted out the door only to see something I had never seen before, it was at least seven feet tall but was hunched over to make
it seem smaller, it had almost the same structure and a human too but it was much skinnier and it's skin was a dark brown. Its fingers or where they should have been where two foot claws that curled a little like a curve of a well made sword. Its feet where not much better they where at least three feet across and wide and the toes where also small claws, but nothing was like its head it looked almost like a rabbits but the ears where longer and his eyes made every bone in my body run cold. I took a step back as the beast turned to me and let out a screech so loud that the pure air pressure change made my ears pop, and then the scream it self, made me go almost deaf. I fell to the ground in a daze; it was only my pure adrenalin that saved me when I leapt to the right as one of its huge calls fell to the ground right where I had been, then almost instantly another claw backhanded me into another window of a hunting shop. What luck I told my self
I pulled a brand new shotgun off the wall and fed it two shells that I got out of a case on the counter, and I waited. We both looked at each other for along time or at least it felt like a long time and then, finally it charged. I waited for it still every inch of me wanted to run but I knew that I had to stay strong. It leapt at me with frightening speed and right when its head was lined up with the gun barrel I pumped two rounds into the skull of the thing, it was a direct hit only it was only an inch away from the barrel when I shot, the pure force behind the shot knocked both of us back. I fell into a display case as the beast shook his head only a couple inches back from where I shot it nothing happened it was fine all I gave it was maybe a headache tomorrow morning. Then again it looked at me and charged.
