they're still not sure what's going on. or at least the nurses/techs aren't. we didn't get to talk with a doctor today. they've got more tests going on and they're still giving her antibiotics.

her mental state ranges from incoherent and unable to recognize people to semi-lucid but still unable to talk straight for more than a few words. she doesn't seem much worse, but I'm not sure she seems any better lately. we did get her to do some talking about American Idol, tho, and she was happy to see my oldest niece.
