Talk about yesterday being a multi-problem day. Heard from the *** about upgrading the software on one of their machines...

Then one of our reps are heading into the *** Headquarters next month and are dropping off one of our video surveillance systems - so I had to get him the latest version of software. His name is Charlie and he's kind of a cheese head. One of the people who are a little "too dangerous" because he's curious. First thing he said was "Oh, so to upgrade I get to kill your app and get into the OS." NOOOO!!!

Then the boss has been trying to find a piece of hardware (one of those monster things that are boards slabbed together with tons of glue and solder and have components and wires and chips hanging off of it, it looks like a huge frankenstein mess, but is really important) from 1996. Thankfully we were able to pull up the documentation and get something "like" it tossed together. Yay for documentation!

So - today is Friday! Three-day weekend ahoy! We're headed to the inlet this weekend for some sun - and I'm bringing my float! Then BBQ and my friend flew down from DC so we're going to go hit her favorite bar for a few drinks.

Yay for three-day weekends!!
