Riches?
I was just thinking earlier, what truly being rich must be like.
And I came up with ideas for the three basic classifications.
Poor, Middle-Class, and Rich. I then realized why these people are classified in these ways.
Poor people;;
They seem like the good and honest hard working type of people right? Well why the hell are they so poor? Simple. When they get money, they don't think they need to necessarily save it right away, they always have the idea of spending some of it now and keeping the rest for later, but they usually spend more than they can afford to spend, and what they spend their hard earned money on usually consist of things they don't even need. The way most of them work is, as soon as they get money, they buy whatever they can while it's still there, but even then, what they buy will hardly benefit them. That is what my mother would call "Stuff", it's there, but it's just there, it's extra. That leads to them living off of paycheck to paycheck without any control of where their money actually goes until it's gone. Pathetic right? But it seems to be pretty much right.
Middle Class people;;
They have money, yeah they do. They're not doing so bad? Well they're not doing so good either. The reason most of them stay the same is because they take only few risk, and those risk hardly benefit them. A lot of the middle class people I know would only buy certain things to prove that they can afford it. And the very few things that they can actually buy are really expensive things that might screw them over for a while. So they slowly become rich then back to normal again. So their money isn't really going anywhere, it's just staying around the same range that it would be worth.
Rich people;;
What I noticed in a lot of people that are considered rich, other than celebrities, is that they really know how to invest their money. Rich people become rich from saving their money until they find a way to make it grow. Like buying houses. When you buy a house, the property usually goes up because of the location over time. Rich people usually only buy things that would benefit them in some way in the near distant future, but even then they make sure that they are more than able to afford it. If you're born into a rich family, that won't really help you much if you don't have the ability to understand this basic level of thinking. A lot of the rich kids I know are spoiled like Kenyans with Missionaries.
Meh, according to my mother, I'm thinking about finances too much, even though it's not my problem.
