Rose: Hostessing

Smiling through her headache, Rose ushered everyone into the sitting room, as pets were still filing out of the living room after being given assignments.

However, even through her headache, she did notice that Wynn was unconscious once everyone was inside and the door was closed- by Chazu, whom she smiled at for doing so. For a brief moment, Rose felt like she had stepped back from herseld, and was able to look at herself and how she was behaving. In that moment, she realized she looked like some kind of mindless hostess, with practically no personality. She wondered what was wrong with her. But it lasted only a split second, and she was back.

"Oh, no, Wynn." she said, and hurried over. She knelt down by Wynn, and placed a hand on her forehead. "Just fainted." she proclaimed. Then she looked at the others. "No one's fixed her memory yet?" Rose asked them. "You shouldn't be taking her out to visit and such if she is likely to freak out at any odd magical thing!" she said, somewhat perterbed, but there was no heat in her voice. She still felt mindnumb. She did, however, realize that Wynn would wake shortly, and that Rose herself was currently not hiding her fox tail, fairy wings, and her demonic halo, any of which might scare Wynn.

She changed, and looked over at Chazu. Had she felt more like herself, she would have asked him why, in his opinion, Wynn was not able to recover her memories. But instead, she said no more, and tried to see if anyone needed anything. Her head pounded, and she hoped the medicine she took would help soon.

Se'rox: Time for Re-Assessments

Se'rox was fully ready to take on whoever decided to start a fight with her Zuchax III. And at n**'s original reply, she thought she was going to have to. Thankfully, Xeona let go of her waist, and Se'rox felt more able to move normally.

However, a few things happened almost simultaneously. Something that sounded like Kaku but only emitted faint electrical impulses into the ground started speaking to Zuchax III from near the front door. This distracted him slightly. Also, the little Nobody seemed to make the connection between herself and Zuchax III, obvious in the way he pinpointed her as Se'rox. She was about to reply, when another thing she was thinking of (specifically that only one other friendly Nobody knew to connect Se'rox and Zuchax III, and that would be Xangord) proved itself a moment later, as Xangord herself opened a portal and stepped out into the midst of it. Se'rox immediately let the mud on the other side of the hedge re-solidify. It made a large, odd, squilchy noise.

Se'rox shrugged, and just stood there a moment while Xangord told the small boy to disarm. She also caught that Zuchax III was arguing that vampires didn't exist- which Xeona had just said the woman that had been with the boy was. And Xeona got punched for it.

Looking over at Zuchax III, she raised an eyebrow. In such a tense situation, and with Xangord just having arrived with some other unknown woman who was conversing with the first unknown woman, Se'rox thought that it was about time to either fight somebody, or simply be forgotten. She never had liked crowds, not when they were all so... noisy like this. It was uncomfortable, unorganized, and meanings and messages were getting all mixed up.

"Hello Xangord. It's been a while since I saw you last." she smiled, showing that she knew that last statement held a pun, even though she had no ability for humor herself. "Perhaps... it has been far too long?" she asked, leaving the unasked but implied question of who the boy and the other people she was with in the air.

She put her hand on Zuchax III's arm discreetly, knowing it would soothe his illogical dislike of the thought of the possibility of vampires being real. At least, she thought it should, since her touch usually had a kind of calming effect on him.
