Link and Midna
Chapter 17
~A New Day~
It was morning and every single ordonian was up and awake. The sun shone through the curtains of Link's bedroom and shined down on the beautiful, sleeping twilight princess. Link just stood there beside her bed and watched her sleep. She was quite beautiful, he had to admit. When he looked out the window, he saw Colin, Malo, Talo, and Ilia walk over to his house to wake him up.
"HEY! Link! Midna! Time to wake up in there!!" Talo shouted up to the window. Link sighed and bent over the window to face all four kids.
"Alright, alright! I'll be down in a minute, I need to wake up Midna first! Go tell Fado I'll be there to herd the goats a little bit later this morning!" He ordered. They all nodded and scurried off.
Link made sure they were out of sight and then he bent down and kissed Midna on her cheek to wake her up and softly stroked her. She moved feebly and sighed lightly.
"Mmm... not now..." She mumbled and put the covers over her head.
"Yes, now." Link smirked and pulled off the covers, leaving Midna shivering. She then curled up into a little ball for body warmth and tried to go back to sleep. Link sighed.
"Alright, I'll let you sleep some more. I need to go help Fado with the goats, so when you wake up, come and visit me at the Ranch."
Midna nodded and immediately went right into a deep slumber.
Link looked at Midna one last time before leaving. He tiptoed to the door and opened it quietly so he wouldn't wake the sleeping beauty, then he closed it gently behind him.
Link rode on Epona to the Ranch where Fado stood, waiting for him. Link smiled and greeted his friend.
"Ya'll ready there, Link?" Fado winked and was about to blow the whistle. Link nodded and readied himself.
"GO!" Fado blew the whistle and Epona cantered gracefully around the field, herding goats along the way. Link laughed, enjoying himself and a soft Spring breeze danced on his face and ran through his silky, dirty blond hair.
"Link!" Midna shouted while running towards the front gate, waving to him.
"Midna! Your awake!" Link smiled. His pearly white teeth that shined in the sun made Midna blush a bit.
"Am I ever! I feel great!" She skipped towards Link and Epona. Her long, black cape following her every step. In Link's vision, it almost looked like a dance.
"I just finished herding the Goats. Fado is gonna feed em' later, so I don't suppose I have any more work to do today. Wanna go to Zora's Domain?" He offered his hand out to her and she gladly took it, and Link pulled her up onto Epona, her in front of him.
"Sure!"
"Alright. We'll leave a little later this afternoon. I actually do have a couple of things I need to do."
"Oh, yeah, go ahead and do whatever you need to do. I think I need to ride Twilight a little bit more these days, anyway." Midna winked at him, and he nodded. Then they waved good-bye to Fado and rode off into Ordon Village.

"Link has already successfully defeated me more than once, twice, even more than three times! Even more than SEVEN times!! So... I have a task for you, my pretty..."
Ganon cooed and lifted up his right hand. A familiar figure in a dark black cloak sat upon him and lifted their head, still not showing their true identity.
"Don't worry, master. I'll be sure to get rid of that pest for good. I won't let you down." The voice was obviously coming from a girl.
"Good... now go." Ganon ordered and dismissed the mysterious cloak girl. She nodded and walked off, a knife hidden in her hand.
