Of the Plan for Restoration, Back on Track, and A Visitor
Rose: the Plan for Restoration

Rose winced when she realized that her attempt at Delving- and possibly Healing- had not gone unnoticed. Lord Avondale hurried over to her, and she blushed profusely. She thought he assumed she had hurt herself in the process, and she was embarrassed that he might think so little of her, that she still needed to be protected so much. As he placed his hand on her forehead, she could tell he was checking on her, on her abilities. Maybe he thought she had burned out her powers? She was at a loss for words.

Especially after Lord avondale described his plan- she was still speechless.

Kaku was not.

Rose tried to open her mouth to stop him- to plead with him to help in some way, but she could not. She was no scientist. She did not understand much technology- not for Healing, anyways. she thought though I thought my hologram replicators were pretty good- the ones I left on Lia-Alit-Illtia. Still, she knew her true talents lay with magic, and she trusted it the most. She hoped Kaku would forgive her for going with this plan.

She looked up at Lord Avondale quite seriously.

"I will do this. And I hope that it will work. It is a good plan. But. I swear that if we can not make good on this, and bring Wynn back, that I will make you pay, Lord Avondale, and then hopefully, Kaku will forgive me." An odd thing happened after Rose said this; she glowed slightly- almost like she shined for just a moment. She didn't know it, but due to her angelic lineage, she had just bound herself to that oath. If things did not go well, she would be forced to avenge Wynn, or die trying.

Taran: Back on Track

Taran was starting to feel a little superfluous. Everyone in the room was intent on Wynn, Lord Avondale, Shalimar, and Kaku- until he left abruptly. He realized he could leave and no one would notice.

Instead, he called out mentally to Tuli and Jaa. I need your help. he thought to them. I need you to get Lord Avondale to tell me, simply, where the two are located if he knows, and once found, where they should be taken.

He needed to get going on this next quest. He knew time was short. The dead coming back to life was more than a little trouble, and revived dragons would not wait patiently for him to deal with them.

Tuli and Jaa relayed the thoughts to Lord Avondale, along with letting him know they would relay any messages back.

Taran knew that Lord Avondale was in the middle of trying to organize this big thing- and Taran was concerned as he realized that Lord Avondale was going to put Rose right in the middle of it as the anchor- but he thought she was up to it, and it was past time for him to leave. He cared almost too much for Rose, and he could not afford such a distraction.

Se'rox and A Visitor

As reverberations in the ground alerted Se'rox to an approaching person, she did nothing. She knew she moving from her spot would not help her nor give her an advantage at this point. The emptiness where her heart should have been ate at her, and as the visitor approached, she did not startle, nor ready an attack.

The man, though, was not cruel, nor apt to attack, apparently, a young woman sitting in the snow, almost about to freeze herself to death. He asked what she was doing, handed her a tissue to wipe her face, and mentioned that he had more appropriate attire for such weather back at his... institution. That was an odd word to use.

After wiping her face, she "looked" up at the man. People always did feel more at ease if you talked at them, not near them. "I was following a friend. But I think that someone got to him first, and he might be in trouble now."

She shivered suddenly, as if a bolt of electricity had just run through her. She did not like the implications.

"In fact, I am certain he is in trouble." Se'rox said, and stood. "However..." she said, losing the conviction in her voice. "I do not know where he is. Or how to find him." she sighed. "And my toes are almost going numb, which is a problem."

That was more of a problem than the man in front of her knew, of course. She felt as if the edges of her vision were going fuzzy; akin to someone losing their peripheral vision. She needed something warmer, and possibly... possibly even footwear, though she hated wearing the stuff. It made her vision blurry.

"I do need some proper protection from this weather, since it is here I must remain in order to find him. Where is this institution?" she asked. She was wary, but had little choice.

I've said it once, and I'll say it again. I do not want to go into Wynn's Subconscious when I can fix her with Science. I will help, just not in Wynn's crazy head!

Hmm.... I thought the room felt less crowded.....

Tixmarn: Not far at all, dear. In fact, it's overlo... *clears throat* Your eyes are dulled from unuse, so it probably won't help to have a view of this field....
