All he could think of was Rosemary. His sweet, sweet Rosemary. He had named his ship that, “Sweet Rosemary”. He knew she would be waiting for him at the Lighthouse of Lighthouse Bay.
The Sweet Rosemary pulled in close to the lighthouse, but not so close that it would hit the jagged rocks around the lighthouse. Grey was working to get a smaller boat into the water when the wind changed direction and flung his ship into the rocks. Grey went flying with the ship’s momentum, landing headfirst on a rock with a sickening crack and disappearing into the bay.
Up in the lighthouse Rosemary saw her love’s end. “Grey!” she shrieked, turning around to run down the stairs. One, two, on the third step she stumbled, falling on the fourth. Down an entire flight of stairs, and all she could think of was Grey…

Maria woke with a start in elbows-deep water.
“I was about to wake you,” Katie commented from behind her, “but you did that on your own.”
“She fell down the stairs,” Maria stated blankly “She wanted to save him.”
“Well that tells us how they got there… what a story.”
“And it gives good reason not to go clean the wreckage of the Sweet Rosemary.” Maria turned around to find Katie flying over the surf with a glowing seashell in her hand and almost fell over.
Katie chuckled, “Guess you didn’t know I could fly, huh?”
“Can you magic me out of this water, please?” Maria asked, ignoring Katie’s question.
“Sure.” Katie rolled her eyes and waved a hand in front of Maria and said a few gibberish sounding words. A second or two ticked past and Maria floated out of the water. “C’mon, follow me,” Katie instructed, “we’re gonna discuss these dreams somewhere a bit more private than my bedroom.” With that, she flew off over the waves to the cliffs, leaving Maria to try to fly in her wake.
