I let out a sigh as I feel the cool evening breeze gently caress my face
You stand there beside me woundering what I'm thinking
I step away to spin like that of a child
You chuckle and take my hand high to twirl me once more
Why can it not be so simple as thus
To be like that of a child and get to know
That person that makes you feel free
To just be yourself and be free
Like wings glide on the breeze so should a friendship before a relationship
So serious is a step to take a physical plunge
To be accused not to be serious to commit to that of a big step
Should I take the plunge? Or should I keep hidden in the shadows?
Only time can tell but no knights in armor or galant lords
