Ingredients
--2 eggs
--1/3 cups of sugar
--1/3 cup of soft flour
--1 tablespoon unsalted butter
--Frosting/fillings:Strawberries
--3/4 cup whip cream
--1 tablespoon sugar
Step 1 Cut out a piece of wax paper to match the cake.(The side and bottom of the cake pan.) Microwave butter for about 1-2 minutes. Preheat oven to 160Celsius (about 320Fahrenheit )
Step 2 Mix the eggs in a bowl, then add sugar until it all melts.
Step 3 Put warm water(about 30Celsius or 80Fahrenheit) in a big bowl. Place the bowl from Step 2 inside and use a mixer to whip it up.
Step 4 Sift soft flour into the bowl you finshed mixing. After stirring add the melted butter.
Step 5 Pour the batter into the cake pan. Make sure to use both hands to tap the pan to take out any excessive air then put the pan into the oven.
Step 6 The sponge cake is ready when you stick a toothpick through it and it comes out clean. Once done, take it out of the pan and place it on a cake plate to cool.
Step 7 Put the sugar in whipped cream and place the bowl in a bigger bowl with ice water and use a mixer to whip.
Step 8 Wash strawberries and cut off the stems. Cut them in slices and put them aside. Cut the sponge cake in half horizontally and spread whipped cream on bottom half.Place the strawberry slices on the whipped cream and spread more whipped cream on the top half. Put the 2 halves back together.
Step 9 Spread the whipped cream along the sides and top evenly. Decorate the cake using strawberries and whipped cream.
